Let me tell you all this story. I think this place is a scam. I made an appointment through Assurant and in the claim I started my screen was broken and volume did not work. I mentioned I just wanted my screen fixed since it lost of my warranty plan. I gave them my phone and after about 40 minutes I was told the screen was replaced and that I needed to unlock my phone so they could “run a diagnosis”. RED FLAG!
I’ve changed screens. I’ve had my screen changed and never does a phone have to go through a diagnosis. After I started I didn’t to unlock the guy then starts telling me I have to pay a deductible and he can’t fix my phone if I don’t unlock it for him.
So he proceeds to removed the fixed screen on my phone and hands it back to me. Suspicious, call Apple, Assurant, & T-Mobile all denied knowing anything about running a diagnosis on a phone after a screen replacement.
After speaking with Assurant and telling them what happened they apologized profusely, didn’t charge me a deductible, and had a new device delivered to me the next day.
Not sure what they got going on here but it’s more than just fixing phones. You DON’T have to unlock your phone for a screen replacement!

Customer service was great, with friendly and informative representatives. However, when I picked up my device I was told that my SIM card was no longer registering to the network which meant unless I was connected to WiFi, my phone would essentially not work. I was assisted with logging on to their WiFi to test my phones functionality, and unfortunately my texts were not going through along with some other features. I was told it was likely a "phone or model defect" but after speaking to a representative from my mobile retailer about my experience they didn't seem to agree given they tried to connect my device with an electronic SIM card and a new SIM card without any successful results. This led us to conclude that something went wrong during the repair which caused the damage. I don't believe this was intentional and I understand I have an older model phone (newer ones dont have SIM card), however the impact of this has resulted in me having a non working device for the next 5-7 days.
