A former employee here, I really enjoy the cheap prices and overall good products, the only problem that I had was with certain customers who created a stressful and hostile environment by not following our directions when we brought out new merchandise. As previous reviewers have said good luck finding something good with those types of customers. Another thing that could be fixed would be if management provided security and safety guidelines for their employees and fellow customers to make it a more pleasant experience. And limited, difficult store access—had to ask (and wait for) an employee to unlock exterior door to let me in, and again to LET ME OUT(!) when leaving, and to escort me to the elevator for both downstairs (restroom) and return trip. VERY unsafe—for everyone, but especially for people with disabilities, and especially if emergency evacuation is needed. A setup where we have to ask—and then wait—for someone to LET US OUT is NOT #BarrierFree #Accessible planning.
I really expected better of Deseret Industries! (Are these dangerous conditions considered “okay” because this location is in a “low income”...
