Wow... I don't know if there's even a better view over LA, but I don't need any other than this. Neat looking building, spectacular views, and very cool public accessible telescope in the left dome. Good view on the city, the Hollywood sign, and the surrounding area. Visited during daytime, but I can only imagine the sights at night through the telescopes. Parking is a hassle, but maybe we did it wrong. Popular tourist attraction, so be prepared for a crowd.

Totally affordable and worth a visit. The views are fabulous but the live show and educational opportunities are spectacular. It was well worth waiting for parking. The presenter of the show was adorable. He appeared super dynamic in his story telling and passionate about his work, and I love it. So glad we went back when they were open. Our first attempt it was closed due to a concert.

This was our third attempt at seeing the observatory. It was crowded (holiday weekend) but it is easy to be fooled. There was plenty of parking at the top of the mountain. The architecture is amazing, but the exhibits seem dated and worse for the wear. However, the views are spectacular.

Absolutely loved exploring the Observatory. Shout out to Rob who's public presentations were incredibly informative yet fun and interactive. Definitely helped bring the Science Alive. Also to Frank? The narrator for the Planetarium shows, his voice over work was incredible and despite I'm sure doing several shows a day and then many more over the week always seemed to give it the same energy every time.

If you're a history and science nerd like we were you'll love this I...
