The 2 young white male workers here were extremely rude. One was cussing the whole time just because a couple passing through said they had their car parked in the lot (they needed the handicap parking.) One of the male employees told them they arenât allowed to park there and need to leave, they kept explaining they have a handicap parking spot, he said ok and they said thank you and walked to their car. As soon as they walked away, he started cussing for them to get the F-out and called them Fân idiots, all while Iâm waiting for my coffee to be made. His colleague was making my coffee and talking to him about the customers and how stupid he thinks they all are because they park in the wrong spots. They both had a full on conversation talking poorly about each customer they encountered, all while Iâm standing there. The one that was upset about the couple, was also slamming everything as he was closing down shop. Even when I ordered my coffee, I asked to sub the milk for almond milk. The one who went off on the couple took my order and asked if I wanted boxed almond milk or another kind, tbh I didnât know the difference so I told him Iâm not sure. He rolled his eyes and went âok then boxedâ and his coworker yelled âoh we got another, ANOTHER ONE reallyâŠâ as he was preparing my drink. Extremely uncomfortable and obvious that these 2 entitled brats donât have common courtesy for the people they service. This is definitely a place to avoid if around the Griffith park area. I truly came here because I saw videos of this place and wanted to try it out, but after experiencing this and considering that Iâm a totally different race⊠this felt uncomfortable, inconsiderate, and degrading. Do not come here. Not worth the visit and humiliation...
Read moreWhat a cute place to grab a cup of coffee and eat some snacks. We came here right after went to Griffith observatory. It is about 10 minutes drive from the Griffith observatory. This place is very cozy. They serve vegan food as well. The coffee is stumptom organic coffee. Love it, especially their cold brew was great. They also provide house-made almond milk. How do they make almond milk for daily supply, I don't know. But I do know it tastes good. We had granolas with almond milk. Very healthy and light. The granola contains raisins and some kind of berries that has ginger flavor in it. I like it. The vegan avocado bowl was good but a little bit on the pricey end after you take off the bread, the cheese, the mayo. You only left 4 pieces of tomato's, a bed of sprouts, and two scoops of avocados with soy bacon as a topping. It still tastes pretty good, but certainly not filling.
The seating area is very cozy and decorated with string light. It looks much cuter when it gets dark. There is a park across the street which is good for kids. There is also a hiking trail where you can hike all the way to Griffith observatory. The hiking trail is pretty shady with all the trees on the sides. It's much pleasant than walking on the driving path up to observatory. I'll definitely take my family and...
