EXTREMELY, cool place to visit if u want to simply go for a great walk/hike and see Coyotes, deer, and possibly rabbits. Great, for camping out for a short while also just no overnight stays. Great space for a BBQ too if you're into that kind of thing! Very, relaxing kind a park to go to and to see the seismograph that is inside the observatory itself. Perfect, place to go for a first date in my opinion....
Read moreGreat place to learn with beautiful views. You must pay $4/hr for parking and if the observatory is busy you could end up walking a mile in hot weather. There is closer parking but it fills up quickly. If you have the option take a tour bus that drops you off at the top do that.
