Kosha Spa — Attraction in Los Angeles

I’m 36, and honestly, I see changes on my face every single day. The weird part is how fast they show up. Like, you wake up one morning and think- wait, when did my forehead start sliding down toward my nose? One day you’re fine, and the next, there’s a new line that definitely wasn’t there yesterday.

I know it’s all about dehydration, puffiness, stress- yeah, I get it. But I’m just not that disciplined when it comes to doing face massages or those facial workouts everyone talks about. I always want to, but I never stick with it.

So these tapes from Kosha, honestly, magic. My frown line had somehow turned into three separate ones (why three, not one?!), and I was starting to look permanently annoyed. I wear the tapes overnight, and in the morning my forehead is completely smooth and relaxed. Like I time-traveled ten years back.

And the oil… I almost didn’t get it. I thought, what’s the point, I won’t do massages anyway. But then I read the ingredients and wow. I really wanted to love this facial. I did find it relaxing but overall it was just okay. The space is beautiful. In not sure why I filled out forms. I did this online before my appointment. At the beginning of my service, I was only asked if I was allergic to anything, like aromatherapy. Nothing on the forms was mentioned. The aggressive face suction overwhelmed my cheeks. My rosacea was flared up. I was concerned the blood vessels in my cheeks were going to remain visible. The buccal massage was quality. I loved the mask add-on. But my Esthetician had strong body odor. The room was jasmine and b. o. Then, her hands became very sweaty. It was a continuous flow of product and sweat on my face. After the mask was applied, I felt droplets on my head. I think it was some type of aromatherapy. The mask covered my eyes, too. The Esthetician informed me they would be leaving the room for 4-6 minutes. That's unusual. While she was gone, I felt the droplets drip down my head. I wiped them to the best of my abilities. I guess some seeped underneath the mask. I have a chemical burn along my left temple. Luckily, I have Cosmedix Rescue balm. It seems to help. At check out, the front desk person was busy texting. I loved Kosha spa so much!! Treated myself to the IG-advertisement. The appointment app was a little pesky, but not enough to derail me. I gave the spa a call and had an appointment set up in no time!

The simple and warm ambience immediately invites you to take a nice, deep breath. You leave everything else at the door. The nicely displayed products do not overwhelm or scream "BUY ME." They are accessible without imposing on your already pricey (well worth) facial.

The service was completely relaxing. I was comfortable. Not rushed. She didn't talk throughout the appointment (how can anyone relax this way??). I've never experienced a facial like this before. My skin didn't just look beautiful that day, but fora couple of weeks after. I felt like I really did a service for my body. I loved it so much that I purchased two gift certificates for my neighbors!
