Few months ago I took my daughter to this park . As we were about to exit the car a huge tree branch broke off from the tree and smashed my windshield ! Glass got all over myself , my child , my vehicle . What a safety hazard !! I waited hours to get someone out from the park to come see the damage . The city did not pay for my windshield that’s the even saddest part … due to the old maintenance worker’s negligence. That tree branch could’ve caused serious damage if someone was so happen to be standing there . After the windshield incident I’m to traumatized to return .

I signed up my kids for a self defense class and got turned down at the door because they had 10 kids already, but I counted 7 go figure... I was very upset when my 5 year old son say "dad I can't go??with a sad face, Why?. The trainer also said " that it said on the flier 10 kids only..

Great park. The kids loved the play equipment and the boys loved the baseball field. The bathrooms were clean and in working condition and there was exercise equipment there for the public to use for free. Great park and great neighborhood!!

I was here at dusk and didn't feel unsafe. Herbert street around the bend is narrow and street parking is scarce in the immediate area, so the few spaces available here is precious. There are so many parked cars in the neighborhood...

The playground seemed to be pretty new and clean. Lots of slides of different shapes. Adults need to accompany at least a child to be in this area for safety reasons

ADA-folks beware that it's all downhill to get to the tennis courts and baseball diamond, unless there's a different way to get there.

Views are unique to parks from other cities...got the harbor freight/shipping container cranes in the far back and you can hear the horn...

I used to come here when I was in elementary and the park wasnt that great looking. Recently the Dodgers started sponsoring this park so little leaguers can play baseball/softball. Thanks to that, the park looks so much better now. The landscaping is better, they've added some nicer fields, and there is even stations to work out.

The only negative is that there is very little parking so you'll have to most likely find street parking. Overall nice quiet park to have a picnic or play...
