Upon reading the reviews, (and many are positive), I notice for every non favorable review, you have something smart to say as if trying to put people in their place for daring to post a "negative" review....
I see no attempt to rectify. You would much rather justify everything and being sligtly rude to those reviews that dont favor the establishment. If you look at it in a constructive point of view, how you respond to people's complaints can and will affect ur business negatively, and naturally the next point of action would be to rectify and ensure customer satisfaction, not respond with "oh well" type responses. I've been knowing and going to this amazing restaurant since it was on Pacific around the late 80's. I also know the back story of the whole restaurant #1 and restaurant #2 fiasco. I am genuinely glad that it got squared away in the end. The owner and proprietor has earned that respect and didn't need that other restaurant to be a direct and flat out immitative competition of his own place. With how I've seen the way u have responded to the not favorable reviews, and the last time I went to the restaurant, I believe you are doing a disservice to the restaurant and to the legacy it holds and far worse, the reputation the owner has earned throughout the years by refusing to represent him properly and by putting people on blast.
I believe that instead justifying and responding with an attitude, you should address people's concerns professionally and fix the wrongs, to help and assist that legacy to continue, rather than tarnish it by taking constructive criticism personally and bringing down the last brisas name to the ground.
Don't lose customers with attitude....earn more...
Read moreI tried Las Brisas for the first time on a groupon birthday gift. 'How good could they be?' I thought. I'm a foodie and I know my Mexican, not an old fogie that frequents El Torito or Taco Bell. I'm talking about ordering from the street vendors in Tijuana; indulging in a rich, Oaxacan, country-style mole´ pizza from El Fortin in Fullerton, or taking a few pounds of carnitas to the Super Bowl from El Toro Bravo in Costa Mesa. So when I looked around inside and saw that Las Brisas was a Mexican restaurant of the Zacatecan variety, my suspicion arose even higher, for surely nobody could be better than my beloved Tacos Jerez in Huntington Beach, the only Zacatecan restaurant I know of in Orange County. Las Brisas toes the line, though, and you're lucky to have them in your town, San Pedro. I had the asada dinner plate, and I have to say it's the best steak plate in Los Angeles. Batter's up, LA. Who's makin'...
Read moreWe came all the way from Arizona to try this amazing restaurant my husband grew up going here and always talked about the wet burrito being one of the many best dishes. I finally came to try it out and I was definitely not disappointed! The wet burrito was the best one I ever had. They have a special and original sauce that goes on the burrito that makes the flavor even better. I had the Camarones ala diabla and it was delicious! Seriously tasted home made. Not only was the food 10/10 but the customer service here is something you don’t see anymore now a days. We felt like we were visiting family by the way they treated us. The family who owns this business is so attentive and caring. They greeted us since the beginning and kept going out of their way for us and our kids which made us feel comfortable and at home. Exceptional customer service! we plan to visit again before we leave back...
