( ZERO ∅★∅ EDITED a former 5★ review) MARCH,2023 I wrote the review below 4 months ago & it could have been 10yrs ago compared to the service I just received from this location. For one, I gave my order, & another older woman came out & interrupted the process. The selection offered was not a satisfactory substitution. I was telling the previous employee I would pick up the food after I had filled the water. I reminded the 2nd woman this was my preference. She seemed to not like that option. I paid for the water. I returned a few minutes later to finish my order & she made some sort of remark like "you made up your mind?" (???) I reminded her this was my original intent & it spiraled DOWN from there. I couldn't believe this was the same place I've been coming to since 2004. Sadly, it got worse after I had given her my money to pay. The rudeness got worse. I was being "blamed". I knew I had written a review for this location & I refuse to add to their "credits". LOOK at the years when the good 5⭐ reviews were made & look at current reviews.

(Oct. 2022) We've been coming here for years - it's been sold at least twice - we usually grab a few donuts while also getting the water jugs filled. We purchased a few new 5gal jugs from this location some years back - still use them. I like anything blueberry & they have blueberry cake (plain or glazed) & the wife loves the croissants. The employees are always respectful - it's been MY experience that if you speak to a service worker with respect you will ALMOST ALWAYS be given the same respect back. Me an my girl had purchased a drink there mine was a taro smoothie an her was like a fruit smoothiee with vegetables.. I was visiting San Pedro & I stopped by this Donut Star shop, and I had the great experience. When I went inside of the donut shop, it was very clean and well organized place. A young lady greeted me with great smiles. I ordered one dozen donuts. The price was $19.99, and She gave me extra small donut holes. The price was reasonable, and the donuts were tasty and not dry. I found out they offered other foods which include Chinese foods, breakfast sandwiches & fresh fruit smoothies & flavored coffee. For the fruit smoothies, they used all kinds of fresh fruits such as banana, apples, pineapple & mango. I liked this donut shop because they offered other things than donuts & coffee. Also, I liked their great services and fresh, delicious & tasty donuts. I was visiting the San Pedro area,but if you live in the San Pedro area, I would like to recommend this Donut Star shop...
