On our way to Marsh park, we started to get nervous, the area surrounding seems a little bit shady, but we pulled into Marsh park, and it was like a light turned on and music played. The park is modern, and absolutely beautiful. There are picnic tables, and some buildings to get shade under (we saw some people doing yoga in one of them) and it's a phenomenal place to gain access to the LA river bike trail. Secondly, no playground or sandbox for the little kids, but they built a skate park next door that has constant noise all day for the park goers and the neighbors. Lastly, it’s noon on Saturday and I put my blanket down on WET grass. How is that enjoyable!
