Curry King — Restaurant in Los Angeles

If you're looking for some great authentic indian food, this place is it! I heard of this place through word of mouth, which is usually a good thing, so I decided to try it. I ordered chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, rice, tandoori roti, garlic naan, and gulab jamun. The portion sizes are generous and great for sharing and the value. The chicken tikka masala has a nice creamy flavorful base and the chicken pieces are so moist and tender. This is exactly what I was craving for! The garlic naan is super flaky and not too soft and not too crunchy. The tandoori chicken has a nice marinade/seasoning on it and it was grilled to perfection. It was not over dry like other places. I highly recommend both chicken dishes. The gulab jamun was to die for! It was served warm and had the right amount of sweetness and cardamom flavor to it. The restaurant is very spacious and clean. The service was fast and all staff members were attentive, friendly, and professional. Kudos to the chef for the awesome chicken tikka...

This restaurant has a severe problem with consistency, arguably the worst I've come across. My wife and I order here (or rather, did or here) rather frequently, and very often the food is exquisite; some of the best Indian food either of us have had. However, there is clearly one or two other chefs who are unable, or unwilling, to cook to that level. And just as frequently as the food is great the food will also be mediocre to terrible. That was the experience we just had a couple nights past, and it was unfortunately the last time we're willing to subject ourselves to this restaurant's...

Usually I don’t write reviews until it wows me … Just returned from an amazing Buffet with family from this place and I tell you it was the best I have had since 2 years …. Curry king has taken a 360• turn in terms of food , quality and taste . They have really come a long way and delivered this time . My 4 year old loved everything ,especially the Biryani and Gulab Jamun . I hope you guys continue the effort and I definitely will say that ,there will be more business from me for sure in coming days !! Thank you for the wonderful...
