Fosters Freeze — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I grew up around this fosters freeze and the people who work here have gotten soooo lousy throughout the years. the service has always been slow and for the price we're paying its not even worth it at that point. the food has always been good but the workers are just weird. the cashier taking my order had dirty nails and could barley understand what i was saying... im mexican so i know spanish but damn you're going to be working there u gotta learn some damn basic english! like i said workers are lousy and rude, i had went today to give them a coupon i got from them awhile ago during their month specials that was expiring tomorrow, said if i could keep it for scrapbooking cause i liked how the coupon looked, the cheap a$$ lady refused to give it back and before she did she scribbled marker all over it... like how dumb and cheap can you be ! they swear i was going to pull up and reorder and use the coupon during the same day! ugh this place has really changed its ways. like how broke are you? theres a lousy man worker who didnt even take my other coupon this other time is it ever...

One of my favorite spots to get ice cream or milkshakes in town. They also have a lot of savory food options, but I have to admit that I’ve never tried. I always stop in when I have a sweet tooth so usually go for the dipped ice cream cone or a malt milkshake. They have a large parking lot attached and service is always very fast and very friendly. There are only outdoor tables, no inside seating, so it’s more popular for to-go orders. It’s a true throwback to the old school Stop & Shop soda bars that used to be all over LA. It’s nice that a few of these remain and eating here gives you a true dose of nostalgia.

I have tried many of their dessert options but this past visit we ordered a Chocolate Dipped Vanilla Ice Cream Cone, a Cherry Malt Shake, and a Banana Malt Shake. All 3 were a great sweet treat but I would say the Cherry Malt was my favorite. You don’t see that option often so it was nice to have those flavors. We love this place for their chocolate dipped cones 🤤🤤🤤❤️ my husband and I try to come every summer. Right now is winter but we decided to bring the kids after a day at the park and they loved it! This place is very affordable, well lit and lots of parking. It's also so close to our house 😊 we highly recommend the chocolate dipped cones and banana split. I believe you can even add toppings to the cone like peanuts.
