A very welcoming and zen temple celebrating the heritage of its home of Saigon Vietnam and those who practice Buddhism.
The smell of incense permeates the temple. There is a feeling of acceptance and peace here. It was designed using classical Chinese Buddhist structure, comprising of shrines including Maitreya Buddha, Bhaisaryaguru Buddha (medicine), Ancestral Memorial Hall and a shrine for Releasing Souls from Purgatory.
Take the time to enjoy the tea room, rest areas and zen garden. There are plenty of benches and sitting areas inside to sit and take in the beauty and history being celebrated here. It is definitely a place of love, friendship and extending knowledge of Buddhist work and culture.
I will return to this place again when I need to be reminded of what is important in this life.
