Ritchie Valens Recreation Center — Attraction in Los Angeles

Large open field with tons of vendors in the area for which to get food from. There is also a skate park near by, though it's not all that big and a local pool. There is also open public bathrooms. Local sports teams which to enroll your kids in are also located here and there are often practice games. Good place for which to go for a run in, though watch your step since some parts aren't evenly straight. Also a great place for dogs, though make sure to have them on a leash!

If you're going to come here, come for the food. There are TONS of small vendors which line the street during the mornings and afternoon, many of which are small local families who could use the support...

Dirty tennis courts and park is also dirty no flushable toilets, lots of homeless people loitering around, inadequate parking on weekends, and evenings ,and food trucks park too close to entrances of parking lot making it very dangerous to exit parking lot with no view of street for incoming traffic! The food trucks should have to park further away...
