It's Tuesday afternoon, and just got out of the store. After spending 10 minutes to be helped in the jewelry department, a very rude lady told me that I had to go to the payment line to be helped with jewelry. I told her that I wasn't getting anything else but some piece of jewelry but she said I had to get in that line. There were about 29 customers in line before me, and only 3 cashiers. And rapidly there were about 7 more clients behind me. It's ridiculously crowded and busy and they chose to have only 3 cashiers. I really wanted the jewelry piece so I went to the line. I waited about 10 more minutes and it didn't move a bit, nothing. So I came back to the front and asked if someone would help me there because the line wasn't moving. One of the cashiers approached me and said that I had to go back in line again because there's nobody else to help, I had to stay in line behind 40+ people to buy something! Even if what I want was free, I wouldn't make line that long, that's just crazy and inconsiderate of them and their client's time. If I'm buying just jewelry, I don't have to make a ridiculous line that has over 40 people waiting and doesn't move an inch in 10 minutes. If that line would have move even a bit those 10 minutes that I was there, I would have waited, but it didn't. Their selection is better than other locations but their service is horrible. That one star is for their great selection and because I don't have another choice, but that's all...
Read moreDon’t support this Ross Sherman Oaks- cashier doesn’t support other women. On 3-8-22 at 6:50pm a cashier let a customer (male)go in front of another customer (female) who was first in line. An argument ensued because female customer was defending herself asking cashier why she isn’t taking her first. Then male customer hit the female customer hard on the arm twice! Cashier didn’t say anything or intervene and even gave the female a hard time - because she was hit in the arm and because she was first in line!? Cashier denies seeing this happen in front of her register! Security guard , or loss prevention was nowhere to be found so they did not help the woman. If corporate wants to step in and reprimand the cashier by all means here’s the receipt and go look at your cameras maybe facial recognition can get this male customer behind barz. You can’t touch a customer by law- and especially during COVID people don’t want to be touched so learn self restraint and control. Until then don’t come here they apparently are antiwomen and they will...
Read moreEvery town has a good an bad store like that Denny's reference on Family Guy years back (the bad Denny's is the one in North Hollywood)... This is definitely the bad Ross of the SFV/LA Valley. The lines are long, the quality of items is low and limited and the customer service is usually just service... Personable... Enough... Though never rude, but rarely inviting.... The elevator is usually in use and it's slow if you ever need it... I enjoy taking the stair, however the men's clothing department is dead center at the top... Who planned that out... And the women's shoe department feels like a maze closing in on you... Is this the shinning... I have managed some good finds over the years, but dread almost every trip here for all the hassle. The parking lot is constantly following with traffic during business hours.... The AC here is often busted here... Winter is chaos... and IS...
