Sycamore Grove Park — Attraction in Los Angeles

Soo much fun with the kids. I especially loved watching a man panic because he was too busy in his cell phone while his kids played on the playground. Not realizing his 1 1/2 year old daughter wandered to a nearby party to join in on the festivities with absolute strangers. Good thing I'm a parent who is aware of my surroundings and watches everything that goes on. Nosey? Nah....just observant. When I seen this father in panic I then realized he was the parent of the little girl who wandered off. My friend asked if he was looking for a little girl in burgundy and he said YES! She then told him we saw her wander off towards the party with the jumper house. As he ran over to that area his cell phone fell out of his pocket. Now my friend and I are witnessing all of this happen. A lady who also saw him drop the phone(not realizing we were watching her) told her daughter (about 7 yrs old) to pick the phone up. I looked at my friend and said "this lady is about to steal this mans phone". My friend approached the lady told her that the phone she's holding belongs to the man who is looking for his daughter (I CAN NOT MAKE THIS UP) the lady then replied with "Are you sure? How do you know"? My friend took the phone and walked to the bonehead father who was too busy in his cell not paying attention to his baby and returned it. JUST ANOTHER DAY...

Basic park. Has playground for children. Had to use street parking, I'm not sure if they have their own parking lot although there is a small lot on the east end of the park but it was completely full. I think the residents of the apartment block adjacent to the park use the lot for parking because the lot was full but the park was practically empty that morning. The male restroom was disgusting, there was a random wheeled basket with soiled clothing and other items and there were people sleeping on the toilets. They were hosting a fair on the grounds that weekend. The park and rec. Folks were present and have the rest of the park in wonderful condition in regards to cleanliness and landscaping...

I grew up knowing this park since I was about 9 or 10 nothing's changed that much but the playground has been updated to Modern Times there are a lot of barbecues with family decently no overcrowding kids playing running around chasing each other everybody having fun just like the good old days I used to live down the street from here and every time I got out of school I stopped it with a couple of friends and play in the playground until we got older and then brought our kids it's a great place check it out next time I'm there I'll send you some pictures, Charlie and Oscar the cat and the is spelled k a t t destroy everyone to know is Charlie and...
