iam8bit — Local services in Los Angeles

My wife paid for and preordered a vinyl from them almost two years ago, Oxenfree. It is nowhere to be seen. They tell us to check the update listing and they continue to push it back. She can't get a refund from the credit card company because it has been too long and iam8bit won't produce a vinyl or refund purchasers. Buyers beware. This store front may be friendly, but this company is up to some shady and unethical practices. Produce a product or refund your customers. Stop telling us to check the release window document when you just keep pushing it back. You are a disappointment. I recommend Fangamer, Ship to Shore or the Yetee for a more ethical and positive shopping experience.

Edit 06/03/23: The vinyl which was advertised as a preorder, contrary to their the posting, has been delayed once again. This has been delayed multiple times. Customer service provides no assistance (as it has been too long) and Paypal will not provide a refund as it has been since 2021. Oh! Also their Persona vinyls WHICH WERE Preorders, has also been delayed. So while money has been given to iam8bit in good faith, no product has been provided. I should also mention there were more recent negative reviews than mine, which have curiously vanished. Nothing has been resolved. Might I recommend Spacelab9 or Bigbadtoystore . There are so many vendors interested in providing videogame vinyl at a reasonable...

Sweet, sweet gallery space. My first time coming here was to check out the Combo Attack- StreetFighter 25th Anniversary and wasn't expecting such a big gallery.

I'm glad I didn't go to the opening night show for this, since one of the girls that worked there said 2K people showed up = mega lines. :P

My second visit was for the Hint Mint gallery of "You Need this Art" featuring the artwork of Audrey Kawasaki, James Jean, Brandi Mine, LOLA, and more. It was a good turnout for the reception, and you were able to see the limited metal prints framed and looking gorgeous on the wall.

There was event a Hint Mint bar where you can get samples of the various flavors.

Overall, this gallery has some great exhibitions and collaborations so I look forward to...

My preordered PS4 game was lost in transit and I got a refund via PayPal.

Better to contact the courier directly before contacting iam8bit and just relay the info to them as every email can take anywhere within 14 business.

I already knew they'd say they don't keep payment method details for "safety", so I suggested PayPal and I'm not amenable to in-store credit before they could even say it.

You can definitely get a refund from them, you just have to be 1 step ahead as they would try to keep your money (typical business SOP) if you didn't...
