UPDATE SATURDAY, JUNE 7, 2024: After I showed the manager Richie the sign with the misplaced decimal, he erased it with his thumb. Today, I returned and someone else wrote the sign the same way with the decimal point in the same place, reading: .35¢. Teach your employees about decimals or hire smarter employees. I didn't buy bananas this time to make a point. I was a little outraged at some of the prices. I saw bananas with a handwritten sign that read: .35¢. So I put 7 in my cart. The cashier rings them up at 35¢ each. I mentioned the sign. She calls Richie, a manager, over. He said, "We wouldn't sell bananas for less than a penny." You would if your employee doesn't understand decimals and $ and ¢ signs. So Richie tells the cashier to do a price match. Then he sarcastically asks, "Is that price better for you?" Yes, Richie, when Target gouges us on other items, I'm going to make a point. It wasn't the $2 I saved. Customers are going to push back when we can when Target prices gouges us on other items.. The store is exceptionally clean and organized, and the cashier was friendly and professional. Richie could cool it with the snippy attitude. If I had wanted 100 bananas, Richie probably would have had an aneurysm on the spot. REC#2 4140 3427 0074 3407 1 VCD#751 166 044

I finally had the chance today to visit this Target. I made a pickup order through the Target app and my order was ready for pick up. I was also planning on getting some items in the store as well. When I came today in the early morning, I was able to find parking right at the front. When you walk inside, you'll see that the store is 2 levels and most of the stuff are on the second floor. I went to the pharmacy area to get some meds and be aware that a lot of items here are behind a locked glass case so you'll need a worker to come open it for you. I didn't have to wait long for a worker to come and help me since he was nearby. The store pickup area is on the first floor near the self checkout stations. The only issue I had here was that they closed the self checkout station so you have to go to the 1 cashier station that was open. I only had 2 items but the person in front of me had a bunch of stuff and she was arguing with the cashier so it made the wait longer. I can understand that the store want to address shoplifting issues but other customers are affected by the story approach as well. I also had to wait a while when picking up my order at the pick up area.

The reason I gave this place a 4/5 is due to the inconvenience of the 2nd floor Health/Beauty department. Nearly everything is locked up! Loofahs, body wash, shampoo, hair gel, vitamins, personal lubricant, moisturizers & serums, the list goes on! I understand locking up baby formula, but locking up an $8 bottle of shampoo? C'mon man! I wanna run in, grab what I need and go! I don't want to have to wait for the 1 and only Target associate to finish unlocking a product for a line of other customers that are waiting to be helped.

I once waited about 15mins for someone to unlock the body wash for me, I pressed the "assistance" button they have there, and no one ever showed. I eventually had to walk downstairs to grab another associate to help me.

Other than that this Target is great for a QUICK RUN purchase. They have the essentials only! This location is a mini Target so they do not have everything you would find in other Target locations (No hardware, entertainment, sports & outdoors, home & patio, shoes & accessories departments etc.) The selection of clothing is very minimal, again small location, same thing with the food and produce area, it's very small and does not carry what most Targets do.

Do yourself a favor, download the Target app (or go directly to their website) and search to see if this location carries whatever you're looking for before stopping by (and make sure to select the Valley Plaza location NOT the NoHo location over on Victory/Vineland when searching inventory). Parking is super convenient, most people are too lazy or don't seem to know about the back entrance parking. This location is perfect if you're looking to grab a few quick items and go, not somewhere you want to spend more than 30 minutes here shopping. There's a Starbucks in here too if you want to spend $10 on sugar and water. The teens working here all seem depressed and don't want to be bothered. But hey, if I was making $15-18/hr I'd hate...

Never thought I’ll spend 2 hours to be harmed and blamed by Target’s employees! Yesterday I was shopping there and wanted to use the gift card (100$) to pay for goods (108$). I opened it and gave for the cashier. She scanned my card, scratched the silver line. She tried to scan again and I saw on her face that there is a problem. She tried to contact someone. I asked if there is any problem, she answered that there is no code under the silver lining. I didn’t want to block all customers and said she can continue with next person if we have to wait for a help. A few minutes later came a man who was working on the pickup and services spot. He said “you have to call the service center and tell you accidentally scratched the code on your gift card, so they will give you another one” no excuses. I asked for a manager, he was sorry but said they can do nothing and I have to call. I called there, explained the situation, sent them pictures of the damaged gift card, they said I’ll receive the new card in 5 business days!!!! I asked for the manager again, now it was a female employee. She was sorry bla-bla-bla told me she can do nothing, but speak with employees to be careful with scratching gift cards. Does it help me? - NO! I don’t care if they will even create a conference with all employees, it doesn’t make me feel good… Your employee damaged the card, another one came so rude and blamed me for scratching the code which I didn’t even touch! As a manager you can at list propose something to the harmed customer. Idk, even some discount for items I had to pay with my bank card or 5-10$ gift card. Really, it’s not my fault! Your employee damaged my card , didn’t even apologize and asked another employee to come and blame me ? Are you serious? Managers role is to make me feel better as a customer, you said sorry.. “High level of customer...

The audacity of one of the employees at the online order pick up desk is insulting. I had an online pick up order, I parked at the pick up spot and the only way to get the order brought up to me was to use the mobile app. SERIOUSLY?!! I don't have the app. Okay, so I saw the Target online order running employee passing by, I called her, but she totally ignored me. Even when I was walking up behind her. Okay, so I got to the desk and one of the employees (who I see there a lot and who is SUPER helpful every time) came up (since no one was there to assist me) and took my mobile pick up order and went to get it meanwhile, this other employee (the one with the audacity to piss customers off) comes up out of the back (where was she before!?), asking if that is my car parked at the online pick up parking spot, and TELLS me "next time don't park there, it's for pick up order". IS IT FOR REAL???!!! WHAT DOES SHE THINK I HAD?????? THE ONLY REASON I'M INSIDE THE STORE IT'S BECAUSE HER COLLEAGUE TOTALLY IGNORED ME AND BECAUSE THE PICK UP SPOT REQUIRES A MOBILE APP TO NOTIFY THE STORE I ARRIVED. Not only she was not helpful, she also had a nerve to put her 2 unrequested cents that made no sense what so ever (1. she was NOT the one HELPING me 2. I WAS there for online order). Employees like her should not work with customers and should stick to stuffing shelves. Seriously annoyed from...
