I've lived here for about 5 years now and really like how well it's maintained and it's location vs affordability for the area. These are probably going to be the cheapest apartments you can get for the Miracle Mile area. Miracle Mile is a very convenient area and everything I need is in walking distance which saves significantly on gas, and ensures you get daily exercise without having to think about it. I also work in this area so I only have to drive if I need to go to the doctor or visit my father in the valley. The staff is mostly friendly. I would give them a B+. But the response time to provide repairs and maintenance is very fast, A+. The laundry area's machines work about 99% of the time (nothing's perfect). I've never swam in the pool but it looks nice. I've read the other reviews and can safely say: no one I know has died of cancer from living here, in my 5 years there have been zero problems with vermin, my rent payments have only experienced slight errors that were easily and quickly remedied, there is no mold on or in the walls (my father is a mold inspector and I've learned a bit about that subject through him), there has never been a single gas leak or fire, it has never been deemed "uninhabitable" by any agency. I suspect some of the other reviews may be from disgruntled unruly tenants that were forced out due to complaints. My only real complaint is the price of the rent. I'm paying about $1400 a month for a studio right now and it get's raised about $60 every year. My income isn't rising at the same rate of the cost of living around here and this may be more of a nation-wide economic problem rather than a Villa Vicente problem. To sum up: best value for the Miracle Mile area, but...
Read moreI am very disappointed regarding this and I’m now happy that I have moved. Villa Vicente Apartment Homes violated my tenant rights by declining to fulfill my maintenance request. I was frankly told by representative Tonya that she couldn’t guarantee that anyone could come and repair my issue. One of my requested repairs was to tighten the kitchen sink. They never arrived. I moved out 8 days later. But a non functioning kitchen sink complicated our move out process and it violated the tenant/health rights of my children and I. Shame on you Villa Vicente and good riddens. Other than this issue, my experience has been good. Mariah in the front office is a shining star and the maintenance professionals are like family. The property has changed a lot since I moved in almost three years ago and so has the type of tenants who flock there. The grounds are always kept up nicely. However, lately the complex is noisy, wreaks of marijuana stench and there is always trash in the upper parking lot. I moved...
Read moreThe Management and Staff have no idea what is going on. They emailed me that they received my last payment when I moved out for the wrong amount and the check never cleared my account. A month later I called to check on the status of my deposit and the manager Tania started talking about how my bank mailed them a check - which it never did. When I corrected them that my bank would never have mailed them a check and asked them to verifiy that it did, the manager came back on the line and stated that my bank never sent the check, that they emailed me the wrong email about receiving my check and that they never received my last payment. When I told her that I handed my last payment to their clerk during my move out she called me a LIAR despite having check numbers and references. They also never contacted me on not receiving my payment so when I called them I found out I was still liable for the apartment. Good Luck dealing with these sort of people if you want...
