I've lived here for about 5 years now and really like how well it's maintained and it's location vs affordability for the area. These are probably going to be the cheapest apartments you can get for the Miracle Mile area. Miracle Mile is a very convenient area and everything I need is in walking distance which saves significantly on gas, and ensures you get daily exercise without having to think about it. I also work in this area so I only have to drive if I need to go to the doctor or visit my father in the valley. The staff is mostly friendly. I would give them a B+. But the response time to provide repairs and maintenance is very fast, A+. The laundry area's machines work about 99% of the time (nothing's perfect). I've never swam in the pool but it looks nice. I've read the other reviews and can safely say: no one I know has died of cancer from living here, in my 5 years there have been zero problems with vermin, my rent payments have only experienced slight errors that were easily and quickly remedied, there is no mold on or in the walls (my father is a mold inspector and I've learned a bit about that subject through him), there has never been a single gas leak or fire, it has never been deemed "uninhabitable" by any agency. I suspect some of the other reviews may be from disgruntled unruly tenants that were forced out due to complaints. My only real complaint is the price of the rent. I'm paying about $1400 a month for a studio right now and it get's raised about $60 every year. My income isn't rising at the same rate of the cost of living around here and this may be more of a nation-wide economic problem rather than a Villa Vicente problem. To sum up: best value for the Miracle Mile area, but still pricey.
