Albertson Wedding Chapel — Attraction in Los Angeles

I met the man of my dreams. We dated and fell in love. We decided to get married and started planning a wedding and our future. We picked a date, October 14, 2016 to be exact. Like any new couple we started thinking about buying a house together and all the other things new couples do. We found the perfect home and even though we were not married yet, we put in an offer and started the paperwork. I am a veteran, so we were using a VA Loan. The VA approved our loan and the weekend before we closed escrow they asked why we were not married. They requested a letter stating details on why they should approve a loan for x amount of money. I wrote them a 4 page letter, a pretty dang good one at that! Sure, we were in the clear we started to feel at ease and pack for a trip to Los Angeles we had planned on taking. Friday at 10 am they called to let us know they had refused the letter and wanted to see a marriage license before we were to close on the following Tuesday. We were devastated. I could not stop crying. Our family was going to be furious, our friends would be disappointed and besides all of that, how was i going to change the date and finish up all the tiny details for our wedding in a mater of hours?!?! I did not want a courthouse wedding and memories of being married in a cattle call style. The courthouse told us to check into wedding chapels. I started to cry even more; to think about getting married in a Vegas style drive through or a cattle call courthouse. I do not know which was worse. I found Albertson Wedding Chapel. After looking at their website, I called just to get info, having no faith is a chapel style wedding but i was desperate. I spoke to Patricia and cried the whole time I explained my story. This woman listened quietly and patiently through my sobs as I explained my situation and all my fears. Patricia not only immediately got down to business, she started moving things around, giving me direction and a path. She she gave me times, package options, photo options, flower options, , directions, minutes to and from our hotel we were going to be staying at and told me to have myself and my future husband at the chapel at the designated time and she would take care of everything else. Patricia agreed that no one should EVER have a memory of their wedding day be at a courthouse that is cold and that we have already had enough stress with the planning of the actual wedding and now this added stress. She had me spend the day getting a manicure and pedicure, massage and other things while she took care of everything else. We arrived and everything was perfect. I actually walked down the isle and we had a priest that brought humor into our ceremony and we felt so at ease and welcomed. Patricia is my fairy godmother. This company and Patrica were so wonderful that we are planning to have an actual "fake ceremony" with friends and family on our original wedding date in October with Albertson Wedding Chapel. If you're looking for a place to get married where the Aesthetics of the place is pleasing to the eye great prices and great employees this is definitely your place. My husband and I had our ceremony on September 25th 2022 and everything was perfect. They let us pick the song that we wanted to walk down the aisle with and also if you have a list ahead of time of what songs you want your guests to listen to while they wait for you make sure you do that in advance. When we first got there they rushed me into the dressing room I got dressed and my husband got dressed in the restroom. When I finished getting dressed Mrs Hernandez was awesome she came in gave me the paperwork that I needed to fill out and she actually took the time to do it herself so I can continue getting ready. She explained to me and my father exactly how the ceremony was going to go and what my father needed to do while walking me down the aisle. She also went out and talked to my husband gave him instructions as well. The photographer we had was awesome he actually helped my husband with his suit and made sure he looked perfect for our day. Mrs Hernandez asked my father and I if we were ready and handed me off to David which also gave us a little rundown of what to do once he opened the doors before we walk down the aisle. Mrs Hernandez actually performed a bilingual Spanish and English ceremony which included the burning of the candles the lasso and the coins. Everyone loved the location, the live stream they had available for our friends and family of the ceremony and how professional they were. From when the ceremony started "walking down the aisle" the photographer took non-stop pictures. At the end of the ceremony the photographer instructed my husband and I and all my guests on how to pose for the pictures. Once the pictures with the guests were done he focused on my husband and I and what kind of poses we requested if we had any and he also posed us the way he wanted as well.
