Misleading Reviews – Disappointing Experience
There’s definitely something suspicious about the Google reviews for this place. We were drawn in by the seemingly impressive 4.9/5 rating on Google Maps, but after our visit, we’re convinced it doesn’t reflect the true quality. For more accurate feedback, I recommend checking DoorDash reviews instead.
We came in for lunch and were surprised to find only one person running the entire operation. The interior was uncomfortably hot with no working AC or fan, which made the wait even more unbearable—especially since we were already starving. Despite only ordering two dishes, the wait time was excessive.
When the food finally arrived, the portions were shockingly small, especially considering the over $65 we paid. The lamb chops were completely unseasoned, and the kebabs were dry with an odd smell, making them hard to eat. Even the rice was bland, lacking any flavor or care in preparation.
The only redeeming item was the French fries—crispy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. That’s the single star this review gets.
Service-wise, things didn’t improve. The staff repeatedly forgot parts of our order, including our lemonade, which we had to remind them about. When it finally arrived, it tasted like plain water-completely diluted with no hint of actual lemonade.
To top it off, none of us felt full after the meal. The portions and quality simply didn’t justify the price. We left disappointed, confused, and still hungry.
After examining the Google reviews more closely, we noticed a pattern: many glowing ratings come from accounts that have never reviewed another place and use similar language, raising serious doubts about their authenticity. It feels like the business might be manipulating reviews, which is incredibly frustrating for genuine customers.
Overall, we felt totally let down. Not worth the hype, not worth the price, and definitely not worth...
Read moreI had an amazing experience! I ordered the shawarma plate with a friend, and let me tell you—it was absolutely delicious, packed with spices and flavor. The pita bread was also fantastic—soft and fluffy. The strawberry watermelon lemonade was a bit sweeter than I prefer (I like my lemonade really sour), but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t good. If you like a sweeter drink, definitely go for it.
This is by far the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had in my life. When I saw it had a 4.9-star rating with over 1,000 reviews, I knew I had to try it—and I’m so glad the reviews were right. I haven’t tried the other dishes yet, but the chicken shawarma plate is absolutely top-tier, and I highly recommend it.
The wait time for the food was about 10–20 minutes, but trust me, it was well worth it. Don’t let that discourage you. The owner was also incredibly hospitable, even giving us complimentary baklava with dates. The baklava was sweet and flaky yet still crunchy on the outside, the date also tasted like a date so nothing really to say there. The atmosphere was great—the music fit perfectly with the food and made the whole experience even better.
The only reason I rated the atmosphere a 4 instead of a 5 is the size of the dining area—it’s not the biggest, with only three tables. If you’re planning to dine in during rush hour, you might have trouble finding a seat. Other than that, if this is your first time here and you aren’t a picky eater (and you have actual working taste buds), get the chicken shawarma plate—100%! This place is truly my favorite Mediterranean restaurant ever, and I only wish I wasn’t...
Read moreWe stumbled across this place after driving around hungry for a bit. It was a little more $$ than we wanted to pay, but for the quality and service it was worth it. We paid a little over sixty bucks for two wraps, a side of fries, and three specialty drinks. It’s a small place so they don’t have a bathroom inside, but they do have a sink to wash up and you can use the bathroom next door at the hookah lounge without issue. I’m not from the area, so I don’t know how Lucia compares to other places in the area with a similar menu- but I can tell you- The food came out very quickly even though the place was busy. Everything tasted fresh- nothing tasted refried, reheated or like reused oil. The quality and quantity were worth the price. (10/10 recommend the hibiscus tea and the zhoug that comes with the wrap 🔥) The food was well seasoned. They didnt hold back on spices. The food was very flavorful. One thing to note is that there’s a row of tablets that are mounted on the wall on the left when you walk inside. That’s where you order. I didn’t ask, but it seems that it may be contactless payment exclusively. Don’t forget to take your receipt because it will have your order number on it. Def give this place a try if you’re in a picky mood like I was, and you don’t mind paying a little more for better quality. Seriously- I’m not a super picky eater, but a bad meal (one made without care or attention to flavor) will honestly ruin my day. This place did not disappoint. Can hardly wait to come back and try one of the...
