A nice surprise find. Stopped in on a whim after seeing a line passing the week before.
Falafel was amazing, one of the best I've had. Maybe it was because the first bite was piping hot and I was standing in some of that illegal quarantine sunshine. Good flavor, well cooked, generous 5 for the price
Shawarma plate - great flavor, good texture. The meat on top of the salad made it difficult to eat but it was so good, I didn't care that much in the end.
Sides - I am a huge fan of baba ganoush - I couldn't eat this. Wife and I both thought it tasted 'off' and left 90% of it untouched. Spicy eggplant was VERY flavorful but neither hot nor spicy. Rice was ok.
Pita - open a bag and put it in another bag. It wasn't fresh or pliable, more like a pita cracker
Overall I was impressed and will...

Cons: it's a bit expensive. Around $12.50 for a falafel sandwich. Also, the atmosphere is almost non-existent, but there are tables where you can...
Read moreFalafel Queen is an absolute gem! I've seen the long lines and finally got a chance to try it for myself. The baba ganoush and hummus were amazing, and the lamb and steak shawarma were flavored without overusing salt. This place is a must-visit for everyone, especially with their great vegan options and fantastic drink selection. I can't...
