Young's Grocery Market — Attraction in Los Angeles

Wednesday, 01/25/2017 I was referred to this place by a friend who said they have GREAT MEATS. I drove to this location between the hours of 17:00 & 18:00 hrs. it was dark. I passed by the the location at least 3 times and didn't see it. I finally decided to drive east on 55th St. and there it was at the corner of 55th St & Hoover. The place was in complete darkness. NO LIGHTED SIGN, NO LIGHTS IN THE PARKING LOT. The only light was coming from a doorway that showed cars in the small parking lot and men hanging around. It looked completely UNSAFE! I had called their phone number at least 3 times, but received NO ANSWER, not even a business voice message. I would not shop at this place, or any place that can't even afford to light the area to keep customers safe. Especially in such a rough neighborhood. HOW COULD THEY AFFORD...
