Was craving pupusa, so I wanted to go to my usual joint. Unfortunately, they were closed for some maintenance. Ended up coming to this place.
Area: located in a shopping center behind a Salvadoran Bakery. Plenty of parking and it's free.
Inside: The inside is very spacious has a couple of tables inside. Very simple decor.
Food: I ened up getting some pupusas to go. As well as a breakfast plate and fish soup and horchata. The pupusas were like 80% masa 20% filling. The reveulta had no flavor.. the beans and cheese pupusa was more beans then cheese and the beans had no flavor.
The breakfast plate was completely different from what the cook. Explained to me. I asked her of she can make eggs with veggies.(like peppers and onions.). I got a plate with just tomatoes. She said there would be cheese there was none. The fish soup was the best thing out of everything. Solid 9/10. Horchata is a 6/10 it tastes like a horchata debating to go Salvadoran or mexcican.
Service: The lady was a sweetheart and attentive. Just wish the food was a little more" sason"
Would definitely come back to try more...
Read moreThis place is definitely an experience of home tasting food and they also have food ready to go. I have been a customer for over 12 years with my family and back then I only bought pupusas. Lately, I have been exploring the menu and I do not regret that decision a bit. 🤤🤤 I noticed in some reviews about not getting the service they expect to get as soon as they come in through the door, but in my years of coming that is how the business runs here ( it isn’t Denny’s, Ihop, Wendy’s) If you stay, you will...
Read moreI was charged 42.50 for 10 pupusas and a drink. I had given the woman who was at the cash register $50, two $20 bills and a $10 dollar bill, she then gave me $2.50 as change and when I told her that I had given her $50 she got defensive and told me that I had only given her $45 dollars, she didn't even bother to double check she just turned around and left. I'm definitely going somewhere else before getting...
