Art Sanctuary — Attraction in Louisville

The floor layout is huge. Plenty of space to feel the vibrations of music, and allows you move your body in time of the sound. They have different themed nights, and on others they have a show. Depending on the event there might be cover charge. The night I made it out, it happened to be goth night. Upon arrival, to the left, different booths are set up displaying various handcrafted objects such as jewelry, popular prints, paintings on vinal records, some woodwork containing trinket and storage boxes. I went yesterday to see "Ruthless! The Musical" My experience was great! Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was open and welcoming. Cool building for shows and the play was fantastic. Stellar cast. Will be back for more!

Today I went for a concert and saw Spike Hellis, Buddy Crime, & Control I'm Here. Great bands, great staff, and great atmosphere. They have a second spot in the back for when bands perform that I was unaware of from my first visit....

I attended an evening music performance. It was unplanned and joined friends there after St. James Art Fair. The music was unique, edgy and fun. Alcohol and soft drinks were available at a cash bar (credit and debit cards were accepted). I had a really nice time. The gallery space was not highlighted at the time of the performance, but I managed to take a look around.

The gallery & venue are modern and spacious. The art work I observed was varied and interesting. I plan to make a proper visit to view the art work...
