Craft House Pizza - Germantown — Restaurant in Louisville

It was my first time at this location. I'll give it another try. I walked in at 1003 p.m., and they close at 11pm. I know they close at 11pm because, "I AM BY MYSELF AND WE CLOSE AT 11" Was the greeting I received upon walking in. I replied with, "If you are slammed, I don't want to make it worse, I understand." They assured me I could order, but it would be a few minutes. No problem on my end. I received a half-baked pizza and a salad that was swimming in water. I am usually leery of restaurants in gas stations but the 5 star reviews led me to try it at lunch. I had a hot ham and swiss sandwich - it deserved 5 stars. Crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, lots of ham, and just the right amount of melted cheese. I was able to see several other orders being served, they all looked good and the customers seemed to be enjoying their meals. Plus, the place was spotless clean. After seeing my pizza, I was genuinely shocked at how bad it was. The crust was so uneven, jagged and poorly done. The pizza was technically cut into 8 pieces but they were all different sizes and there was either way too much or way too little cheese depending on the slice.
