Thanks to the venders, this place consistently has great inventory. It’s the ONLY place I’ve found in Kentucky where I can get vintage seating (sofas, chairs, etc) and other furniture pieces that aren’t dressers. The vintage clothing is also really good (some is WAAAAY over priced but easy to avoid). Now, the bad is the store owner. I had the misfortune to be near her during her Instagram reel making and it was grating. “No, we’ve seen enough of her.” And other stuff she would say in an annoyed, vapid tone. It finally was time to checkout and she’s complaining about losing an auction that she didn’t want to win. She then asks what I’m buying. I tell her it’s a chair. She asks which one, and I tell her it’s just around the corner, take a look. She continues to ask and I continue to tell her just to look a few feet away from her but she won’t. Then I wheel over the cart loaded with the chair and she gets out her phone to take a picture of my kids before even asking me so I have to blurt out that I don’t want their photo shared on social media. I welcome her to take a photo of just the chair but she was only interested in using my kids to promote her store. I will be back to visit @badassvintage but I will avoid the owner more fervently...
Read moreAbsolutely LOVE this place! Seriously one of the coolest spots in Louisville for vintage finds. Spent a couple hours wandering through all the booths last weekend and could have easily stayed longer.
It's huge inside this old warehouse in Paristown, tons of vendors (like, way more than I expected!). Found everything from amazing mid-century furniture and funky lamps to tons of vintage clothes, old records, weird collectibles and even some local art. Really good variety, not just the same old stuff you see everywhere. The vibe is super chill and fun. It was pretty busy but didn't feel overwhelming. Plus, they have a bar inside on the weekends?? Yes please! Grabbed a drink while browsing which was awesome.
Prices seemed fair overall, definitely found some unique things that didnt break the bank. Vendors were friendly too. Even saw a couple people with their dogs which was cool.
Definitely worth checking out if you like vintage, antiques, or just finding cool, unique stuff. I'll be...
Read moreReally awesome stuff but the male cashier Saturday 5/10 was very rude, I ended up walking out and going else where for my vintage and antiques.
Story time, I was the only person in line behind the two people who were cashing out and all of a sudden a line started forming on the other side by the cashier and plants. I was not aware that there was a line formation, I waited and waited finally it was my turn…. The first guy in the formation line was called up to check out and he said “I think she was here first” the cashier said “I don’t care you were in the correct line” … you just lost your clients a sale. It’s a bummer because I really wanted the item, but I put it back and left. Probably won’t be back here when I’m visit Louisville next time! But we did find some really cool vintage shops...
