So this was my girlfriends first trip to bunz after hearing all the raving and ranting about the burgers. To say the least it was really upsetting to take her somewhere that was expected to be so good and turned out about as good as a 1 start rated White Castle. Somewhere under the tomato and overload of avocado is a famous bunz burger. I mean even the Hawaiian was disappointing. The one piece of pineapple is bigger and thicker than the burger under it. When you think bunz you think a big juicy burger that hardly fits in the bun. Very upset with how downhill restaurants on Bardstown road are getting. This new generation doesn't care about anything they do and it really shows in their work. I should've bought some meat at Kroger and made my own burger, $20 down the drain.

If you're looking for a burger in The Highlands, this is the place to go. With prices only a little higher than fast food, there's absolutely no comparison. The quality is excellent, there are a range of topping and fry options, and the portions are more than generous. They've expanded to make the inside significantly more spacious. The decor is unique and walls are covered with works by local artists. There are also several tables on their sidewalk patio if you'd prefer to eat outside. Orders are prepared quick and during COVID we usually take ours to go.

There are not words to describe how good the food is. We tried 5 different burgers, Baxter, Louisville Shroom, Lexington, Beer Cheese and a build your own. All 5 were juicy and made perfectly. Also tried French Fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings. No complaints. Portions are HUGE and prices are small! Employees are super friendly, and make sure everything is sanitized constantly. Would definitely come back. Perfect ending to our family vacation.

I saw this place as we were walking down Baxter Road and my boyfriend used to live in Louisville and highly recommend it. So I decided to try it the next day. It reminded me of a hipster spot with the local artwork for sale and four tall retro tables, which I love. I walked stood at the counter looking for a menu and I look at the young lady working and she hands me a paper menu. I told her it's my first time here, so I was not sure everything they had. Reading the speciality burgers at the top was overwhelming. She responded let me know if you have any questions. She didnt give me the feeling of wanting to help someone. She turned back around and continued to talk to her coworker. So I ordered something simple plain burger added cheese and the fixing, plus a side a hot fries. The burger was decent, however I wish she would have told me the hot fries were smothered in hot sauce, served with a side of runny ranch dressing. I was thinking hot fries with seasoning, not at all what I received. Trust me I love hot food!! The fries were gross and soggy and the ranch dressing dripped everywhere as soon as you tried to dip your fries. I am a HUGE supporter of eating at local restaurants!!! The biggest disappointment was tipping the young lady who had an empty tip jar, and she never said thank you!! Not a terrible place to eat, but in the service industry a smile, and willing to help and manners definitely goes...

Couldn't tell you how the food is, as we were refused service. We were told by the guy that he had taken his last order of the night, and was not taking any more. The business is listed as closing at 8 PM. He said he needed time to clean up, so he stops taking orders at 7:30. We left, and I checked my phone while walking back to the car, and it was 7:28. We waited at least a few minutes to be acknowledged so we could order, so we were in there probably about 7:25.

If you stop taking orders at 7:30, then your business' closing time is 7:30. If I can't come in and order food past 7:30, I don't care that your doors are technically still open until 8 PM. If I had known they stopped taking orders at 7:30, I wouldn't have drove 30 minutes to get there, and then drive around for 15 minutes to locate parking. If you technically close at 7:30, then don't tell me you can't take my order at 7:28.

I understand that people need time to clean up and all, which is what most restaurants do AFTER their closing hours. I'd even understand if I had come in 15 minutes before closing, but 35 minutes before, and refusing to serve 2 people? That's ridiculous. Change your closing time to 7:30 if you aren't going to take...

Absolutely delicious!! My ol' man still hasn't shut up!!! I got a single burger with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and mayo. He got a red burger. We also got a regular order of fries and an order of bacon cheese fries. I can't say enough about the cheese fries!! My mouth is still watering!! I'm guessing they had three or four different cheese in them and they certainly weren't stingy with the amount of bacon. The burgers were huge and fabulous!! The meat is actually fresh, not frozen... like they actually have a ball of meat and flatten it in front of you. I also love the fact that you can see them making your order. We waited less than 10 minutes for our order. The employees were also super friendly!! The ONLY reasons not 5 stars is one, the location is not easy to find if your not familiar with the building is in our the area. When you GPS the restaurant,it takes you to Baxter Ave. We actually had to Google a nearby address to get there. The second reason is that part of my bottom bun was slightly soggy. We will for sure...
