Lulu's Casita is a wonderful Main Line gem that fulfills the needs of children & parents! We first heard of Lulu's when we were researching venues for our baby's first birthday party. After exploring several options, we chose Lulu's without zero regrets. They made party planning & execution SOOOO EASY! (they do all the decorating from their collection of party supplies, BYOB for the adults, kids' pizza & juice is included in the price, kind/patient hosts). We loved it so much that we purchased a membership soon after. Now that we've frequented a few times, I cannot stress enough how great Lulu's is. The toys & play activities are thoughtfully curated to entertain children in so many creative ways (pretend kitchen, indoor slide, mini rock climbing, lego wall, kids library, etc.). As a parent, I'm able to relax, knowing that our child is having so much fun. There's also a cute cafe that serves coffee/snacks/food --- I mean, how genius is it that there's caffeine for tired caregivers lol (and it's BYOB on Friday nights & parties!!). There are even cup holders to minimize risks of spills. I was even amazed at the bathroom -- if only all public bathrooms had extra stools, high chairs, potty training seats too. I saw reviews that areas can be "cleaned more" or that there's "outdated/old" toys. Firstly, I can attest that the staff clean with their arsenal of supplies (they were disinfecting tons in between our child's birthday party and another). As for the toys, I think such comments are irrelevant and untrue. Kids love...
Read moreWOW! "Lulu's Casita" is AWESOME! I had heard about it from a few friends and finally got a chance to take the kids over to Ardmore to check it out for myself. It was a chilly day, so indoor play was in order! Grandma is tired of cleaning up the disaster my kids keep leaving in her family room. So, off we went to Lulu's Casita! Lulu's Casita is a huge play space with several different themed play areas, COMFY couches FOR PARENTS to chill on while the kiddos play, and a large cafe. You enter Lulu's from street level, but you can't see the actual play space until you walk down the stairs, so you have no idea what awaits you when you first open the door: A MAGICAL SPACE to light up the imaginations of children and adults alike! The staff was super friendly, informative, and cleaning constantly. The space is welcoming and well-maintained. I was super impressed by the decor, much of which included sensory opportunities for the little ones. It is abundantly evident that Lulu's Casita was created out of a love for people and play. It is a work of art, and ode to whimsy! My favorite part of my life is being a mama and my favorite part of being a mama is discovering cool new places with my little ones. They both had so much fun exploring today and I loved seeing their expressions as they discovered each different play area. Grandma...
Read moreA good idea in theory for a smaller indoor play space perfect size for toddlers however it’s not designed properly for toddlers from decor to set up to ensure the best safety. Just seems like random decorations thrown on the walls with little thought of children’s likes or development. Half the parents don’t watch their kids at least on the Friday evening when we were there and it was very crowded. We ordered pizza and had two, two year olds not get their pizza because their Friday evening is too crowded and disorganized. Instead of apologizing and perhaps even giving a discount for our visit and the inconvenience, instead it was blamed on the pizza place they order from and we had to take the kids out to eat upon leaving. The young lady at the front was very nice and seemed to get a lot of the blame for the disorganization which was misplaced and certainly not her fault but...
