Candy Girl — Attraction in Lubbock

This is truly one of my favorite places I’ve been to in Lubbock since I’ve moved here over a year ago. First and foremost, the shop itself is set up so nicely! Everything is SO easy to find & there is a section for everything you could ask for. Whether you’re a fan of sour, spicy, or even no sugar, Candy Girl has an aisle for you. They even have TikTok trending candies that are SO entertaining try with your friends. Not to mention, they don’t have just candy!! They have chips, drinks, and even a whole pickle section (which includes a make your own pickle basket area which is just unbelievably creative & fun!!!) Plus, everything is at a shockingly affordable price!! Although the shop itself is fantastic, the true treasure of this place is the amazing family that runs it. Every one of them took time out to answer any of my silly questions & recommended AMAZING products based on exactly what I said I liked. Miss Candy Girl herself is so passionate about candy & it truly shows in the way she describes her store & her products (She’s tried them all!! Trust me, she knows what’s best & will give honest reviews.) If you look close while you’re in there, you’ll notice that 9/10 times she’s eating some candy teehee 🤭 I’ve been there multiple times since I’ve been introduced & I’m always met with kindness & warmth. I meant to give the review the first night I went, but every time I go there, I end up spending all night with my friends and fiancé giggling as we try all of our treats!! We were driving and saw their trailer/truck. We pulled in we were bummed out because it wasn’t open. As we were hitting a uturn in the parking lot we saw their logo and we didn’t even know that they had a physical location!

As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by Felicia. The vibes of this place along with the decor and music was amazing. We looked around and everything was very well organized, clean, and the prices were on display as well.

There’s soooo many exciting options to choose from. Mexican/Asian candy, snacks, mystery boxes, pickle kits, drinks, and so much more!

We got the blueberry pickle kit, made our own pickle kit, sour punch bites, chamoy sticks, and apple spray. I’m so happy that Letisha told us that they posted on their social media on how to make the pickle which helped us out! It turned out sooo delicious.
