My bf grew up here and thought it would be a good choice. We both tried different dishes, yes we understand it's a seafood Mexician place but my dish was over 40 dollars and his almost the same. We tried a few appetizers, the queso and guacamole dips that we could enjoy with the complimentary chips and salsa. Never been served hot salsa, but this salsa had absolutely no taste..none. the chips? Tasted like whatever oil they were cooked in. Guacamole was bla, no taste to rate. The queso cheese is velveeta white queso dip. He also tried the shrimp ceviche, it turned out to be tomato tostada with some shrimp. Our entrees both had steak, ordered medium rare, we recieved well done. His shrimp and 3cheese sauce were decent but both steaks had a souring seasoning on it. Neither of us finished more than around 5 bites. Waiter was sweet, he apologized profusely for the quality of everything. Never will we even attempt another try, honestly never even another thought of possibly...
Read moreI’ll never come back to this place again, Especially the way the server spoke to my mother. I was visiting from Seattle and decided to take my mom out to eat here. The photos on the menu look great and all, but what we got was completely different. The shrimps were over cooked and flattened like patties, the tacos looked like they were put together from scraps of other plates and the enchiladas were cold. When we let the server know, she told us “well you can just pay and leave and don’t come back.” When she brought the check, she threw the bill on the table and left. During that exchange, the server mentioned that they focus on the drinks and not the food. Which seemed odd considering “Mariscos” is in the actual name of the place. It’s unfortunate that this occurred and this server is representing the restaurant. If I could, I’d give this...
Read moreWent to this restaraunt Friday night. The food was not good! Be careful about going here. I ordered a steak and crab legs and was informed it was unavailable. OK, so i order Carne Asada and was served a single piece of meat, dry beans and rice. The meat was so overcooked i could hardly cut with the heavy steak knife provided with the plate. The kitchen neglected to prepare the tortillas for three orders at our table and gaucolmole for one order. The server delivered these items about ten minutes after the initial plates came out. My wife ordered a tilapia veracruz and the sauce tasted and looked like ketchup with a few spices added. Not pleased at all. I have made two trips to this joint, my first and last. If i could give zero...
