I have a Samsung flip 5. After a year, the factory screen protector started coming off. I did a Google search, and this place came up as an authorized Samsung repair place. I made an appointment online, and after a day I of not receiving any kind of response, like an appointment confirmation. I called, and they had no idea what I was talking about. I explained what I needed, and they said to let them verify they had some of the screen protectors. They said they had one and usually used several to get it right but would try. I took it in, and about an hour later, it was done and looked good. 3 weeks later, it started falling off. I went online and made an appointment again and told them that it had only been 3 weeks and wanted to know if they offered any kind of warranty. An hour later, I remembered they didn't look at their website and called. They said they only had one (sounds familiar), and they usually use several to change it. I said it's Monday and need an appointment for Saturday. Can you order any? I was told, "Yes, they would have them by Wednesday if I wanted to come in then." I left it for Saturday. Saturday mo, ning I went in and told them what was going on. They said they were out of the screen protectors and could order some. I told them that's what they said M, nday and they found one. Only one. Said the same . They they usually use several but would give it a try. An hour after I got my home, and it looked good. I went, home sat the phone, down and started working around the house. 3 hours after my wife got home and we were going running around, I picked up my phone, and the screen protector was rimming off. It was as bad as the last 2 I took in. We went back to the store and showed them. Explaining it didn't last 3 hours. Thet told me they can't do the same quality job that Samsung does, and I might just need to lean to live with a flawed screen protector. I said this was unacceptable and wanted it fixed. They said they only had one, and it was on my phone. They would order some and call when they arrived. After a week of my phone not ringing, I called Samsung and explained it, and they fixed my issue. It's been another week, so 2 since I was last in and still no phone call. I don't think their going to call. I don't think they want me as a customer. That's fine. I won't be a customer. if you're an authorized repair facility for a company, you probably shouldn't tell people you can't do a repair equal to the company. If you can't do a repair equal to the company, you shouldn't be an authorized...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have had nothing but trouble with this company. I pay for insurance through my phone carrier (Verizon) and their insurance is provided by Asurion, the same company as uBreakiFix. I have been attempting to have my phone repaired for 5 hours and have had no help from the store, the online claims service, or through their phone lines. The store says they have nothing to do with the claims process they can only fix the phone once the claim is approved. The store says they have the screen I need in stock but it will cost me $296.99 + tax. Online the system tells me my only options are to have them mail me a new phone for $250 or to schedule a appointment for them to come to me on 3/11/23, nearly a week later. The customer service phone line has been of no help and I have talked to several different individuals all saying different things. The first somewhat helpful individual stated that the store could transfer the appointment to their store after he scheduled an appointment for me in a different town, the store in Lubbock said that is entirely impossible. The next somewhat helpful individual on the phone stated that the store was out of stock on the phone screen I need and that I would either have to wait until March 11th for home service, pay the $250 deductible for a new phone, or drive 2 hours to Amarillo to have my phone repaired. At this point in time my phone is unusable and my "insurance" has been worthless. This is a service I PAY a monthly fee for in addition to any fees associated with fixing my phone when it breaks. I am beyond upset and am now unable to complete my work, or schooling due to many companies requiring 2 factor authentication, which requires...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently had the unfortunate experience of having my Samsung phoneās screen replaced by UbreakIfix, only to discover a month later that the repair did not meet Samsungās standards. This failure on their part has left me with a device that is not functioning as it should, and I believe it is a clear case of their unwillingness to take responsibility for their mistakes.
After my phone suffered water damage, I brought it to UbreakIfix for repair. They claimed that they would set my phone to Samsung standards, which gave me confidence in their ability to fix the issue. However, only a month after the repair, I noticed that the phone was not functioning properly. Upon further inspection, I discovered that the repair did not meet Samsungās standards for water damage repairs.
UbreakIfix has argued that the wording on their website is misleading, but I strongly disagree. The language used is clear and concise, and it is reasonable to assume that they would follow Samsungās standards for water damage repairs. The fact that they did not seal the phone properly, as per Samsungās standards, is a clear failure on their part.
I have tried to resolve this issue with UbreakIfix, but they have been unwilling to take responsibility for their mistake. They have instead chosen to argue about the wording on their website, rather than addressing the actual problem. This lack of accountability is unacceptable, and I would not recommend UbreakIfix to anyone looking for a reliable...
