Kyla was very nice and cut my hair pretty decent, however she seemed very inexperienced.. the hair wash was basic, the hair cut was even, the blow dry and style was horrendous. I couldn’t believe my eyes when she was finished. By far the worst blow out I’ve ever left a salon with. I left with my hair in a clip because of how embarrassed I was to step outside. My hair is more wavy than curly so I don’t know why she was having a hard time smoothing out my hair. Wavy-curly hair must be sectioned and blow dried from the bottom up. She sectioned out my bangs and top of my head and went in and blow dried with no technique, and very rushed. I knew immediately that it wasn’t going to be like the video i showed her but I had hope she would not let me leave looking crazy. I was wrong. I knew she wouldn’t be able to fix it so I said I’ll redo it when I get home. As a former cosmetologist I was mortified with the final look Kyla. You said my hair was dry because of previous bleaching but added no product to my hair and suggested i use a hair mask at home. My hair was dry because that’s how you blowdried it. Half way. It was still wavy and damp on the inside. I went home and smoothed it with no problem and my hair was silky. I normally do my own hair but my birthday was the next day and I wanted a salon experience, this was not at all what I expected. First time and last time at this salon. At the very least every hair dresser should know how to work a blow dryer and flat iron. I will not...
Read moreWorst manicure I've ever gotten. I should have known when I called for an appointment and was told they couldn't do two manicures at once, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt since it was daytime on a weekday. Staff were nice, but the manicurist was clearly really inexperienced - scraped the surface of my nail WAY too hard when doing the cuticles, and the line on my French manicure was not at all smooth - I could've given myself a better one. The white nail polish was clearly ancient and was very sticky. And, they don't take credit cards, although they do have a credit card machine right next to the register (?!). The manicure started chipping within less than two hours (and I wasn't doing any work with my hands in the intervening time). Then an entire nail worth of polish came off in one big sheet in the shower the next morning, so I pulled all the polish off. Literally would have gotten more enjoyment out of setting the $25 on fire, and it also wouldn't have damaged my nails or cuticles like this manicure did. I'm sure they are much better at other things or they wouldn't...
Read moreHello,
After just four hours of getting my nails done with Gel and Tips I had the nails peeling. I walked out with waves in the nails and they were misshapen but I though they would at least stand by there work if anything else went wrong. Two days after they were done I had a nail that fell off, another that snapped, all of them peeled / chipped, and they were misshapen and thick. When I reached out to see if they could help fix their mistakes I was told they would charge me to take them off, charge me to fix them, and they would not refund me. Unfortunately friendly people who do it for the money and don't care if you are happy or not. I would suggest skipping this place. It was a waste of my money because I had to go somewhere else just 48 hours after getting them done. Double paying for their mistakes to be fixed by someone who actually cares about their clients. If you need a place to get your nails done just let me know and I'll send you to an excellent place that...
