Rafe Banks Wellness Park — Attraction in Lula

This is my go to place to clear my mind. Walk around the trail. Have a picnic. Sit in my car and reminisce. My partner and I shared so many days & nights at the gazebo here, when we first started dating, way back in the day. This is the place I remember her most, for some reason. She lived in Lula her entire young life. She and I shared a 20 year friendship, as well as, a passionate, beautiful crazy, 4 year, esqistitly rare, once in a lifetime, kinda love. I lost her in July of 2017. The proof of our declaration of love for each other, still remains to this day, on that very gazebo. I miss her terribly but this beautiful place brings so much comfort to my heart and soul, on those heartbreaking, "I'm missing u so much baby", tearful days. This pl6will always hold a special place...

That's a very well-maintained park. There are lots of areas to explore. It has a nice paved walking trail. There's a playground with playground equipment for children. Accommodating restrooms, pavilions with picnic tables and urban picnic tables as well near the playground. I love the little creek that runs through the park. It is so enjoyable. The entire park set amongst very old trees that are tall and provide shade through the entire park. It makes a nice experience on a very hot day. It's wonderful to see kids playing and having a good time without being on technology devices and to watch dogs enjoying being out with their owners on nice walks or runs. There are plenty of trash...

This is neat little Park just outside downtown Lula. It is in the process of getting upgraded. There is tennis courts, nice walking/jogging paths, a playground, restrooms and a lot of spots (benches) to sit and reflect, read a book, etc. There is also a good size Pavilion with picnic tables that I'm sure could be reserved for events. There is fresh pavement throughout and ample parking space. We definitely enjoyed ourselves...
