I am loyal to this store since it was opened, today I had a bad experience, I was looking for a particular book, when I heard a woman yelling at the employees, I never expected to see a rude woman yelling there, she noticed that I was watching her, then she came to me in aggressive way and asked me if I needed help, I answered no. I went to check out to buy something and return a pillow, my receipt was a bit damaged but the code can still be read, the cashier told me she will call the manager, I said ok, suddenly a big surprise the manager was the horrible woman that was treating in a bad way all employees, I am not sure if her name is Mariel, as soon as she saw me, she started yelling that she can't take my pillow back, also some items without prices, that I did want to buy, she intended to acused me that I ripped them off, that was unfair and humiliating, I can't understand how a big store like this hired this kind of people, with zero education zero manners, while there are many educated youngsters without jobs I'll never go back there and I'll tell this to my family...

Please do not force customers to open a TJX rewards credit card. Towards the end of checking out with the cashier she asked me if I would like to open a TJX rewards credit card. I said no thank you.. she proceeded to continue asking me, after a few times of saying no she pulled the manager over to try to convince me. I told them both no and that my fiancé has a card already. They both continued to push and then asked me when he opened the card, I let them know he did a year ago. They proceeded to tell me that it was expired, it is not.. it expires in 2022. I never felt so pressured to open up a credit card, I left feeling very dissatisfied and uncomfortable. The card did not show up (over a month) and I could not pay my card off. Home Goods has become one of our favorite stores since we became home owners almost 13 years ago. My partner and I came tonight, located off of New York Avenue in Lynhurst, looking for decorative accessories for our new sofa, and it wasn’t crowded. This establishment has so much to offer its customers in terms of home products at such affordable prices. I like to say this brand is very similar to how Marshall’s and TJ Maxx are, but is a bit more luxurious. Since the selection is always changing, it’s the best bet to grab it while it lasts, as one could always return it if not needed. Quality is always amazing.
