Capital Grille is a national franchise. We first ordered the batter-fried shrimp and the bacon wrapped mozzarella, both surprised us on flavors and presentation. Recommend and suggest doubling up on one of them if hungry (and skip the Caesar salad). We ordered filet mignon (the 16oz. bone-in special for me). The steaks were done perfectly (medium) and so soft and tasty that we instinctively slowed down, cut smaller pieces, and savored each a moment longer before swallowing. Aged Steaks are their specialty and are pricy but worth it to treat a special someone who appreciates fine dining. Wine list was an I-Pad inset in a leather binder with a selection of reds between $50 and $125. Prices were double Vivino (not 3 or 4 times, some other high-end steak places try to get. We decided to order a French 2017 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, $180, to compare with ours at home, but the manager came over to explain the last bottle was sold a week ago and graciously brought over two other French reds for us to taste pouring us both a complimentary glass of the 'Latour' we liked better. Service was abundant, timely, buy not pushy. Recommend for a really nice date (we had big satisfied smiles, throughout dinner, and after). The pre-dinner Cosmo tasted great, but came in a particularly small and shallow martini glass, I was later surprised to see cost $15. Order...
Read moreWe celebrated my daughter's baptism reception at Casa Giuseppe. The owner Joe was very flexible and friendly. He let us set up the cake table/ sweet station the night before, which saved us a lot of running around the day of the baptism. Joe was also very polite even though I had a million questions. Before the celebration I had not eaten in the restaurant, but my husband and I decided to have the event there because of all the great reviews. I am so happy we decided on Casa Giuseppe. The food was absolutely delicious; all the guests kept talking about how great it was and how much food kept coming out. Appetizers were amazing, pasta was out of this world, main course was excellent, and service was spectacular. The restaurant does not have its own parking, but our guests (about 40 people) did not have trouble finding parking in the nearby surrounding area. We would definitely select Casa Giuseppe for future events, as well as, for dinner....
Read moreI really like the food here it’s an great restaurant. However I just paid $28 for a Cesar salad with grilled chicken on it which didn’t make sense. With tip it was a little over $30. I checked the price online and it said only $17 so I called and the waiter, same person who charged me, told me the price was wrong online and he'd tell the owner to update it. Still I didn't believe chicken with lettuce and three curtons cost $28 so I saw they also do Grubhub and I still saw the price is $17. Again good restaurant BUT I am certain I overpaid and the waiter will not bring it up to the owner like he said he would. Wouldn't want to lower the rating but not sure how to address this otherwise. I will never order salad again I could’ve had whole entrée for that price and on Sundays (special deal) they have pasta, meatballs, salad, and bottle of wine for that price ($30ish). Doesn't make sense that I was charged...
