Bar 503 — Restaurant in Lyndhurst

Bad score for the very bad karaoke DJ on Wednesday nights. Food is great BUT service is SLOW and arrogant. Karaoke DJ is super inadequate. Uses ancient discs instead of modern digital format that every other DJ uses and has limited selection. THEN the sound: horrible. Muffled, one tiny speaker, no treble, no reverb (echo). Total disappointment. My friends and I went there FOR karaoke and food. Will never return on Wednesdays for that karaoke. Super crappy sound. Sorry but that is the truth. 503 is my local “go to” bar especially Wednesday’s and Thursdays when Connie is bartending. She is by far the absolute best, she knows how to attend to all people, always with a smile like this past Wednesday the place was absolutely mobbed - in a good way! Connie was able to take care of everyone to include food, setting up for those having dinner, drinks for all, I don’t know how she does it, but her level of professionalism, attention and service is impeccable! Looking forward to next week...

Im giving two stars, only cause the food is good, which has zero affiliation with the actual bar. The bar manager is a shakey drunk with a severe attitude. Will allow over serving just to make a few extra bucks. They over serve all their patrons, my daughter came home from there completely ossified nearly had to be brought to the hospital. She also told me that there were old men doing cocaine in the bathroom and hitting on her. This may just be a place for older...
