If your going for disc golf...look somewhere else...super woodsy dense holes...trails are not maintained...no signs to the next hole very confusing....think there was only one hole on a fairway so using a driver on any of other holes are not advised...very easy to loose a disc too. Maybe a different time of year or season might get better who knows...will not go again for a round. Besides all that the rest of the park is nice...open field to throw practice discs if you want to train your arm. Decent exercise path for runners or walkers and playground for the kids are nice. Think there is a food factory nearby so the air on some days have a weird smell. Also a very nice dog park too for us dog lovers. Most likely will visit here more than the rest of the park.

Great place for walking, running, rollerblading, etc. Has open fields, soccer fields, skatepark, tennis and basketball courts. Awesome for hill sprints, too. The village recently repaved the trails, but took out equipment from WorldTrail, which includes dip bars, ladder, monkey bars, etc. Think adult playground along the trail. I'm hoping the village plants these back. Good for incentivizing people to try out different exercises from walking. The barbed wire along the fence of the splash park is a nice touch. The park also doesn't have doors to deal with unless you have to pee, which I haven't tried the outhouses yet.

Enjoy teaching yoga at this place! Room is quiet and comfortable. Jocelyn is a great help with getting program to run without a hitch! Would like to try their dog park area and also take the kids to the playground there

My son was enrolled in the summer camp program at Summit Park District. Camp started Monday, July 31, 2023. Day 2 of my son being in camp, he came home with a bit on his abdomen. No one called to inform us of this incident, we didn’t find out that he was bitten by another kids until we came to pick him up. Which is unacceptable!!! They wiped the bite with an alcohol wipe and put a bandage over it. He also had a knot on the back of his head, but he stated that happened when he fell trying to kick a ball. We weren’t notified about that incident either. Here we are, day 4 and he has been kicked out of summer camp because a little girl claimed that my son touched her private part on accident. While they were under a cover together. Why are the boys and girls under a cover together in the first place? Also, if what took place was an accident, why is you...

Good Park District. Giant park! Good location, easy to get too and as of late the Park District has been adding more and more family oriented events. There is more to be desired when it comes for programs for kids 3 and under and also with community participation. We tried aigining up or little one for a few classes but all were cancelled due to lack of enrollment. The residents of Summit need to demand more of its Park District but at the same time take advantage and utilize what is already being offered. There is no limit what this park district can do with the space and facilities it has , the community needs to come out and support its Park District to...
