Excellent Customer Service Recovery
Itās not every day that you receive a personal phone call from the owner after experiencing bad customer service at one of their locations. Despite the trouble we initially had, the owner went above and beyond to make things right. He personally came to our home, refunded part of our payment, and even took the time to show us how we could seamlessly cover the electrical cords from our sofa and loveseat. I truly appreciate that he took accountability and acknowledged that we work hard for our money to purchase things, and we deserve great service. That level of dedication and customer care is rare and truly appreciated. AJ, Thank you for turning our experience around!
I will never purchase anything from Furniture Queen again. Once they sell you the furniture, the customer service is out the window. My furniture was supposed to be delivered the next day after I purchased it. I didnāt receive it until two days later after purchasing. On the initial day of delivery, they never called to let me know what was going on. I had to reach out to them and was then told that I would not be receiving my delivery and I would receive my delivery on the next day between 10am - 11am. 11am came, and still no furniture. I called them to see what was going on, again. I was told that they were on the way. They finally arrived around 11:40 to deliver the furniture. After the furniture was delivered and assembled, they left. They didnāt give any directions on how anything worked on the sofa or nothing. Then we saw that the lights were not coming on and two adapters were not plugged up. We called back up to Furniture Queen to tell them what we discovered. The guy was very rude on the phone and had a non chalant attitude. They charge all this money for delivery and do not stand behind their next day delivery statement and do not refund your money back if itās not delivered within the time frame or assembled properly. Their customer service and communication is horrible....

Fast forward to October and my bedroom set is still delayed. I ended up opting for another bedroom set that was available at that time.This optional bedroom set I opted for was higher and only came with the bed frame, dresser, and one side night stand. I expressed I wanted 2 nightstands but there was only one available in stock . I was told I would have to wait and get the other nightstand when another shipment came in which would be in 6 months or so. My furniture was delivered with the dresser cracked on the side, and the top of nightstand has a wide space between the wooded covering and I can see inside the dresser. Called up there and advised. Was told I would get a callback and never did. I didnāt worry about it because I figured it was something I could fix on my own. Fast foward to now. Called and checked to see if the nightstand was in stock now. I was told they had it available and it was $699 . For one nightstand. Was told he could see what could be done about the price and call me back. Located the same bedroom set online for almost $1000 less than what I paid. The nightstand was being sold for $361. So I went to furniture queen today and asked if they could price match. Now today I was told I canāt even buy one separate nightstand. It has to be purchased as a set. I should have went to Ashleyās furniture and regret spending my money there. Overpriced and I feel like they were dishonest. Luckily I can purchase at this...
