American Tire Depot — Attraction in Madera

I just recently purchased a new/used Honda CRV and noticed the warning light for the tire was on. To give a lil quick history when I bought my car the dealer had two tires replaced but I took it in to have them switched. The tire person came back to me n was like I'm not a mechanic but u really need to have the back tired looked at cuz it looks bent. So I right away I called the dealership n they were like bring it back so they fixed it. Something inside of me wasn't comfortable cuz I was like they probably did a quick fix. So I decided to take it to a tire shop to get another diagnostic. As I was on my way to Les Swabs I happened to see American tire depot n was like hum let me try here first. Being a female I was hesitant. But to my surprise the were amazing. Both Angel n Daniel went above n beyond to tell me what was wrong with my tires...they took the time out to show me exactly what was wrong n found out the spindal was bent. Because this part is so expensive to replace they offered another solution which was to get an adjustable bar to straighten my tire. Just the fact that they took the time to show me n explain was awesome. They made me feel like I wasn't talking to a doctor whom gives u medical terms to where u r like what did u just say. I know they had a busy morning that day n they still took the time to treat me with importance n demonstrate true concerns that they did care about me as a customer should always be treated. Thank u Angel n Daniel for ur diligent response. Because of ur diligence I was able to provide the dealership with the information n they took care of the problem. Marcos is a great asset to your company! He has wonderful customer service and does what he says. I called him a week ahead to ask about specific tires. I actually wasn't even planning on shopping with this company. I called thinking it was a branch of Discount tire. After talking to Marcos though, he told me he could get the exact brand of tires I had shopped for online and he actually had them for cheaper! Jackpot!! We don't live in Madera and already had to drive about an hour to get to a tire place. Gas costs enough without spending a ton on tires too. The savings were so helpful and much appreciated!! I set an appointment with him. He had my tires ready to go and my appointment started on time. He checked in with us frequently so we knew what to expect as far as timeframe. I also watched him interact with other customers while we waited and he is such a personable guy. Very easy to relate to and is bilingual so he makes it easy to approach him and tell him what they needed. The gentlemen who were in the shop part switching my tires did a great job too and I could see the muscle power they put into the job. I told them I appreciated all their hard work and was so happy with their service. Marcos then recommended the Modesto location for my trailer tires. Because I had such a good experience here, I decided to do it. I am really glad I chose both locations because not only did I save money but I trust the work that was done and feel confident in the folks who helped me. I love this place. Their prices are always good and fair. I check what parts cost on Rock Auto. So I asked whether we could come close to or better on parts. Labor is always fair. I once went to a Pep boys to get an alternator and have it installed. They tried to tell me it took two hours labor. This was on a Honda Civic hatchback. The alternator is right on top. I am no mechanic and it took me 15 minutes. So I knew they were trying to cheat me. American Tire Depot had to do the alternator on my Ford Escape 2005. I couldn't even find it. They put the vehicle up on the lift and showed me where it was. It was on the passenger side under the exhaust manifold and between the axle. So they did have to remove both to do the job. But they were honest unlike Los Chicos De Pep. They just did my brakes and the price was very fair. They have put my Hankook tires on and had matched the price Americas tire had. I have had great friendly service here and I highly recommend this location. I did go to the Fresno location on Shaw. All I needed was air in my tires. I had to wait to be told where to put the car. Then no one came out. After a while I left. So go to the Madera American tires on Cleveland. They are excellent. Avoid the Fresno branch....
