We just recently moved to madera and love eating at Chinese restaurants compared to Panda Express. So we’ve eaten and tried many different plates and portions from other restaurants. All are usually the same with their serving portions on combos and sides. We ate here on a Sunday, didn’t look to busy when we walked in only 3 other tables but they were already eating.
I just have to say ….. absolutely horrible. Everything about this place I don’t like. We waited 45 MINS for 2 small plates of food. We ordered a side of chow mein and fried rice…. Usually when you order a side they are enough for about 2-3 people at OTHER RESTAURANTS! This place? No. They have the smallest plates and don’t even fill them up. It’s a rip of for almost $14 that you can’t fill the plate let alone make us wait almost 45 mins for the smallest plates ever. What was even more annoying was that 2 other families came in after us and still got their food before and they ordered more than us? Make it make sense.
At the 35 min mark I ask the lady if she can check on our order. She said “I don’t now where’s your order I’m busy with all the to go orders” like really? Talk about customer service. A simple “let me check on it for you” would’ve been a better response. We ready to walk out.
If you want to try a place to eat GO SOME WHERE ELSE! I will never eat here again. I don’t even like Panda Express that much and it’s better than...
Read moreFood is not good, prices are really too high. Chicken tastes like its been boiled a year ago its dreadful. Its worse then Panda express and more expensive. If you know Asian food Panda Express is not good. So the only thing good about this place is its open on Monday. How is $10 a plate a lunch special? They need to lower the prices if they want more return customers. They don't have a soda machine either which having a plastic bottle at the table seems tacky. The tables are cheap. The inside is bland besides the huge gold Buddha. I believe the price of lunch plates should be $6.99 not $10. They are not good enough to charge $10. So its basically like ripping people off. You hope its good food then it turns out its not. So you feel robbed. At $6.99 no one would really care. Thats my...
Read moreThis place is soooo overpriced. We got two plates and two glasses of water for $38.00 including tax and tip. We have not paid anything near this amount elsewhere for the quality and quantity we got from this place. Plate #1... Sesame shrimp with unseasoned soggy noodles - $18.95. You can get the honey walnut shrimp with very tasty chowmein at Panda Express for half the price. Plate #2. Combination plate of sweet and very sour pork, a piece of fried roll which is more wrapper than filling, chow mein with pieces of pork and tons of cabbage, fried rice with nothing in it but soy sauce - $11.95. You can get a few different options of combination plates at Liu’s Village for $7-$8. Would rather drive all the way to Four Seasons in Clovis for dimsum and good food for...
