The food is basically bland, very little authenticity to anything on their menu, the seating is crowded and it's not very spacious or clean, it's a pretty small cramped environment where you feel like everyone there is sitting together. The staff is not very friendly depending on who is working and often times when calling to place an order over the phone, I have been put on hold and forgotten about, only to then drive to the restaurant and have to tell them to check their phone that was still off the hook. Once maybe an honest mistake but more than that is just irresponsible laziness as well as zero pride in customer service. It's okay if you are looking for a fast, somewhat cheap impression of reasonably portioned Mexican food. Tried to give this place another chance, only to be further disappointed that while during business hours apparently they have forgotten how to answer their phone. Not sorry I didn't get thru and I ordered from a business that takes their customers seriously. Very poor customer service from this restaurant and to me that...
Read moreThe food is great and waitresses are very friendly and kind. However, management is doing a poor job at this great location. During our last visit, there was no receptionist taking down names and having parties seated. We waited around for about 25 minutes before someone spoke to us and took down our names (there were a total of 3 parties standing around at the time). Receptionist allowed us to wait in our cars but forgot about us when new walk-ins showed up. I noticed the people waiting in their cars driving off after witnessing this. Yes, I understand popular restaurants can have their hands tied at times, especially during all the covid restrictions but unfortunately, this is the norm at this restaurant and not the exception. I’ll still continue to eat here because the food is good and the waitresses are great. But whoever manages this place needs to read the various google reviews that complain about the same issue. I’ll gladly change my review once this...
Read moreService was amazing and food even better. Went there during lunch time around (1100-1230), did not wait for seating but possible if they are busy. Prices unbeatable, but the food speaks for itself. After my first day there. I literally went the next 4 days in a row. I would go back again and again, but my work has me traveling to the San Jose area next. My meals were the Combo# 3 & #5, and I got the Molcajete on my last day. The Combo #5 was my favorite meal, even over the Molcajete. It's just too big for a lunch meal unless you are taking a nap after lunch. I also like the shredded beef over the carne asada. It was very tender and juicy, perfect for my Chimichangas (Which were amazing), these are first ones I have eaten and not felt guilty about. Rice and beans fresh and flavorful. Last my sauce preference was the red sauce, but it will vary from people to people. Great place...
