ALDI — Attraction in Madison

04-04-19 Any Aldi location always has good prices on their product. I just stopped at this one as I am in the area and needed a few things. They are under a major remodeling, set to reveal in May after a short closure in April. Parking is limited currently due to the limited access and construction zone. If you have to buy large quantities, Aldi's is definitely the place to come. A few favorites I buy regularly: coffee creamer, meats & fresh chicken, lunchmeat and cheeses, & produce. Quality & freshness is generally very good; just check the produce. Trucks come very often. They often carry specialty items for differeny holidays. I went in to buy a couple of things one was yogurt. The price wasn't on the self so I asked for a price check at the register. It wasn't in the computer, I said I didn't want it. Cashier then tried more numbers on the container, again I said I didn't want the yogurt. Then she decided to call the manager over, again I said I didn't want the yogurt. The manager couldn't get it to ring up and beef patties rang up instead. I said I didn't want the yogurt. Manager walked away, cashier couldn't figure out what to do, locked the register. A young female messed up my Instacart order. Which caused me issues when I was trying to pack up the orders. She was disrespectful as well as the manager who knows I do Instacart. I now have to figure out which items go with which order. The manager said that she would have been able to do what I asked if I would have put the heavy items in first. Which I did. I have never had a problem here until today. I do not remember seeing this young lady before. I think how the manager responded would be correct because I did put the heavier items on the belt before. This is not my first time. She needs to know us shoppers have jobs to.
