Santa Maria Grocery — Attraction in Madison

If you don't speak Spanish, please check your receipts. I only bought 3 oranges and they overcharged me and put in that I bought a 4lb bag of oranges. They also overcharged me for 2 mangoes. I went back and was able to get my money back but the cashier was very underhanded about it. I'm very disappointed because I want to support them but I'm very wary of them now. I am sad and disappointed. My family and I have been shopping at Santa Maria for several years now (approximately once every two weeks or so) and were happy that the cleanliness and organization improved. They are closer to us than other options, have friendly staff, and the items that we are looking for. But given their non-compliance with Covid mask guidelines, we will not be returning, ever. The current times are no joke and my family's health and well-being, as well as those of the community, are important. I guess they don't think so?

This store is a joke. Their butcher shop would provide you with services as they please. If they already cleaned up their slicer, they won't slice anything for you, they simply will throw some BS on you about it.
