Subway — Restaurant in Madison

We are in a pandemic with a mask mandate in place. I walked into the store, and after waiting for a minute, was greeted by a short Hispanic man without gloves or a mask. He put gloves on, and then I asked where his mask was. He LAUGHED at me. I told him there was a mask mandate and it is the law to wear a mask. He laughed again and told me we're all going to get sick anyway. I told him he is going to get other people sick. He continued laughing and left. I ended up being served by a taller white man, who was very polite and safe. The shorter Hispanic man was not only breaking the law, but was rude, irresponsible, and unsafe. He should not be working in a restaurant or anywhere with other people. I do not want to see him...

If you like places where the employees run and hide in the back or act annoyed when you walk in , then this is the place for you. Not my first visit her but I'd say I never had a visit above a 3-star experience. We had pre-ordered our sandwiches but they didn't make them ahead of time because all 3 of them including the manger were hanging out talking. Then I was pulled aside and they pointed at a girl employee and whispered "I'm sorry she was supposed to make the sandwiches but didn't". I would go more into how messed up that is but this review is already too long.There are better Subways with friendly staff close by, I would skip this one and visit one of the others; even if its a few minutes out...

I work in the are not too far. The first time I came to pick up my salad, I had to wait a bit in line but the person working was friendly, apologetic and was working hard so it made me want to come back. The last two days - one I stopped in to get a salad and the gentleman behind the counter - sorry I did not get his name was wonderful. I did the ordering on line for pick up and got there and same person was there and my salad was fresh and ready to pick up when I got there. Everyone at this Subway is so pleasant. I love getting my Subway fix at this location! Stop by so you get to experience the great food and wonderful...
