I really liked the layout of this store. What I saw of it was also clean and mostly tidy. That's unfortunately where my happy experience ended. I recently accidentally melted part of my debit card (long story) but luckily I can order online for pick up at Target! Yay! Naaaaaay~ I was getting a few items for a birthday gift for my boyfriend and they had an item online that I thought was no longer for sale. But it showed up online and said they had it at that store! Orange Vanilla Mio! Like drinking a creamsicle in water form! :D :D :D I also got a video game that was in stock in store. Great! Groovy! Except I got an email saying the game wasn't in stock at that store and to choose another store for pick up. Cool no problem. Except it wouldn't let me choose another store for pick up cause it kept saying it was in my cart for pick up. Hmmmmm~ Went in today for pick up and gave my (also slightly melted) I.D.. Cool. Looked at the items and ummmm, wut? They had the Mio Vitamins Orange Vanilla. Noooooooooooo! D: One of these things is NOT like the other. It's legit gross compared to the one listed on the site. So I mention it to the woman at the check out (She seemed to have no idea what was going on and was hopping back and forth with her head cut off. Sweet woman though. Not meant for a CSR position) and she suggested I walk back myself and find out if it's there or not. Uh. Okay? Not a problem really, I have legs I guess. On my way back I thought...why not check electronics just in case? Oh. The game is right there in the case. I ask the guys if it isn't for sale because it's in the case, and they said no, they sell them right from it and there was also another in there. I asked why it wouldn't be put with my pick up order and they had no idea but said they'd bring it up there for me. Uhhhhh, yay? I still had to check out the Mio so I gave him my name and he brought it up for me. Not surprisingly the Mio was not there and just the Mio Vitamins kind. T_T So that hella needs to come off their website. Head back up to the CS desk and now the game is nowhere to be found. She used their useless walkie-talkies to ask where it was put/where the guy currently is.....and no one really responded. Waiting and waiting, she looked around and couldn't find it on the counter or their little back area. I told her to help other customers while waiting. Someone else came up to check what was going on and went back to electronics to see what was happening. Guy came back up that helped me originally and found it right where she had looked several times....like...? I'm getting tired of writing out this clusterf$@* of an experience, so to wrap up, The game was there, the Mio wasn't, wouldn't take my already entered card for the game, so had to enter it manually and was told their system won't take manual input sometimes (UM?) and had to use the birthday boy's card to pay for his own gift. So 1 * for the neat store, but from that first and only experience, the rest sucked. Tell your Order Shoppers to get their s@!# together, please. I'll still totally shop at Target...just not that...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I have been coming to this Target for several years, however, after the recent horrible experiences we’ve had with the staff, I doubt we’ll be back. Last Sunday we tried to make a purchase at the coffee shop. We saw a sign on the register that said ‘closing at 4:45’ written messily on receipt paper. We thought we were so lucky because we got there just in time at 4:40. Well, the barista who was working ended up ignoring us until 4:45, at which point she came up to the register, pointed to the sign, and said “we’re closed.” I didn’t think that was very professional, but I wrote it off as maybe she was just having a bad day. And maybe she really needed to clean and couldn’t help any more guests. This Sunday, we returned and again tried to make a purchase at the coffee shop. Right as we approached, the (same?) employee stuck her receipt paper sign on the register and told us she was on her 15 minute break… I think she misspoke because we weren’t able to get any coffee until 45 minutes later. Part of the problem was that the barista was more interested in texting and talking with her coworkers rather than working. I get it—I’ve worked in food service, too, and it’s not always a fun time. But I’ve never treated guests that way. Even though the coffee incident wasn’t that great, we still wanted to finish making our purchases. There was a mannequin in the men’s clothing section that was wearing a hat that looked really cool. My boyfriend reached up to look at it, at which point a different Target employee yelled “umm don’t touch the mannequins they’re worth thousands of dollars, thanks.” I was so shocked I was sure that I didn’t hear him right… But no, he was serious. Silly us, we thought the clothes were for sale! Advice to management: Remind the two employees (coffee and men’s clothing) working at 7:00 PM on Sunday, January 20th how to create a respectful guest experience. We're so sad that we can no longer enjoy our favorite...
Read moreOrdered four items for pick up today thinking that they would be ready early morning. I ordered them last night and called between 7 AM and 8 AM this morning to talk to customer service to see if it would be ready before I left town this morning. At first no one answered the customer service phone. By the third time I did get someone to answer but they seemed very put out that they had to deal with my pick up order earlier than Their “system” would have it ready. The person Caryn (sp) at the customer service desk was all but rude. Stated nothing could be done to move the order up in the system and that she couldn’t find my order anyway because it wasn’t available in the system. She did finally said that she would have someone pull my order so that it could be ready by 9 o’clock when I got there. I received a call on my cell phone from target right before I entered the store saying my order was ready for pick up. I entered the store, went up the elevator and went to the magnolia items and picked up the one item I had forgotten to order. I then checked out and went to the customer service desk to pick up my pick up order. When I got there they order was not ready, this Caryn said it wasn’t in her system and that she didn’t even know where to look for it. Either way she asked me for my name and my ID and called someone on the phone. The person told her that the item had been picked and that would take another five minutes but would be there. Within five minutes we got notice that the order was ready. What was odd was that nobody brought her the order and Caryn went over to the shelf and just picked up the order as if it had been there the whole time. This particular team member acted like she didn’t wanna be there and didn’t want to help. She kept repeating that “this is why they tell people their orders will not be ready for 2 to 4 hours. She seemed...
