I’m honestly baffled at the glowing reviews for this place, particularly the ones proclaiming “outstanding burgers” as though they’ve stumbled upon the culinary equivalent of the Mona Lisa. Let me assure you: if this cowboy burger is a work of art, it belongs in a finger-painting exhibit at a preschool. We ordered a cowboy burger and a Reuben, and after a 20+ minute wait (not outrageous, but when you’re the only table in sight, it feels like an eternity), the food finally arrived. I had asked for my burger medium-rare, and what arrived was not just well-done—it was cremated. The patty was so overcooked it could’ve doubled as a hockey puck in an emergency NHL scrimmage. To make matters worse, every element of it screamed Schnucks special: the patties, the buns, the generic bottled BBQ sauce. Honestly, I half-expected to find a Schnucks receipt still tucked under the bun like a secret prize. As for the Reuben—if there’s such a thing as a “desert edition,” this was it. Dry, burnt, joyless. Imagine someone left a decent Reuben in the oven, went on vacation, and came back weeks later to serve it. That’s roughly the vibe. The cheesecake? Ironically, it was the best thing we had—but not because it was spectacular. It was because it was familiar. Creamy, decent, and unmistakably factory-made. The atmosphere here is awesome!! Amazing staff(I'm one of them, by the way) Not to toot our horns but we're proud of this new home we've built for m Mahomet and pride ourselves on quality, not quantity, Even though some dishes may seem small they are just as amazing as our other items and still you can leave with a satiated hunger! Oh! And the drinks!! Not much of a mixed drink person, but the choices are dangerously amazing!!!! Googled this place looking for something outside of chain restaurants to eat. Today I ordered breakfast to go. Online ordering was hassle free, pick up was quick as they have a separate section for pick up. Staff was energetic and friendly making pick quick and easy. Small place but roomy enough and they have outdoor seating area. I ordered the Southpaw Stack and it was absolutely amazing.
