After a great cup of coffee hitting up Lake Mary for some kayaking in the fall was so peaceful. The breeze cut through the trees making music, the sandy rocky little beaches around it made for a great place to have a picnic. My dog loves going out on the water with me and I him. Mammoth is a place many go to ski, but I find it to be much more rewarding, spiritually speaking in the fall. Less people, plenty of routes to ride your road bike or trails to venture off to with your mountain bike. The lakes are lovely, the streams of them are great places to hike into forrest therapy. Read moreLake Mary was recommended to me by the locals for good fishing but this November day we had no luck. We caught one fish but that was with a net when it swam into shallow waters. For beauty, Lake Mary was lovely with thick, dark green pine trees, crystal, clear water and impressive landscape created when the glaciers cut through the area.
