Mammoth Mountain Bike Park is a must-visit for any mountain biking enthusiast! The park offers a great range of trails for all skill levels, from easy, flowy paths perfect for beginners to challenging, technical runs that will push even the most experienced riders. The lift access is a huge advantage, letting you focus on enjoying the downhill rides without the need to climb back up.
What really stands out is how well maintained the park is. The trails are in great condition, and the signage is clear, making it easy to find the right trail for your level. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with advice or assistance, whether you're a seasoned rider or just starting out.
The views of the Sierra Mountains are breathtaking, adding to the overall experience of riding here. After a day on the trails, the lodge is a perfect spot to unwind, and the bike shop on-site has everything you need for rentals, repairs, or just stocking up on gear.
Overall, Mammoth Mountain Bike Park is a fantastic place to ride, with a welcoming atmosphere, stunning scenery, and a trail for everyone. If you love mountain biking, this park should be at the top...
Read more5 Star for friendly main staff at rentals and ticket office. 2 star for upkeep and maintenance. On the day of my reservation, immediately after arrival the gondola was shut down due to high winds. Understandable. I had my ticket swapped to the next day. The next day winds were low, however after 1 run from the top, it got shutdown again due to maintenance about 1 hour after park open. Trails coming from the top is not well maintained and dangerous, very loose terrain at extremely high elevations with drop on your death edges. Mammoth is supposed to be a high caliber park. For a lot of people it’s a long trek to the resort from different parts of the state and country. Left a bittersweet taste in my mouth. The ticket prices are fair but the gamble isn’t worth it. With prices almost double in Tahoe, at least the lifts work when you get there and trails are decently maintained. Mammoth has dropped to the...
Read moreThe season things are pretty weak… they only are running discovery and gondola, many trails closed. Some trails in awful shape (pretty much anything over towards canyon/eagle side). Most of the guys working are straight up a$$holes. Telling at guests, dude driving shuttle smoking right outside the bus, like he doesn’t know we are all biking and hoping to use our lungs. They are largely putting only one bike per gondola so even weekday mornings lines are long. Definitely not worth it to pay for passes on the weekend, but riding your free day on ikon on a weekday is fine. If they want this to continue being a summer destination they need to put in the work but seems they are exclusive focused on prepping for next ski season. Hope it snows to make...
