Reviewing the breakfast: We ate breakfast here 4 days and tried several options. Huevos rancheros - excellent and very filling. My wife and I got this almost every day, and we got by with light snacks for lunch. Ask for salsa on the side if you don't like spicy. Oso Omelette - good choice and pretty filling French toast - tasted great but it's a light meal, only 2 pieces Pancakes - filling but not very good. A bit dry and tough, although one of our teenagers liked them and got them every day. Mountainside breakfast - filling but just ok. Sausages are large but not tasty. You get a huge portion of potatoes. Side of 2 eggs is available for $7 and our kids got that often. They open at 7am, but the food doesn't start coming until around 7:30. Sleep in a bit and go at 7:20. You'll still be one of the first to get your food. The restaurant is independent of the resort so no Ikon pass discount.

We were making a trip down to Anaheim from Idaho and needed to stop somewhere for the night. We happened to choose mammoth mountain inn and while the accommodations were meh, the same should not be said about the bar and grill! The bartender (Heather) was phenomenal! The hospitality and charm she provides could only be described as southern hospitality at its finest. Marvin, if you read this do yourself a favor and do not let this one go. She's a crucial part to the pleasure we had while dining in. The food was astounding and definitely worth the price when considering portions. If you've got kids, they've got a kid friendly menu, it just isn't advertised. This meal was worth every penny and I'd gladly go again!

I had dinner in this restaurant because I was staying at the Mammoth Mountain Inn hotel so it was convenient to come here. The atmosphere was really nice and the food was good, the only negative point were the expensive prices (30-45$ for a main course).

This place sucked. The was almost no one there at 7:30 a.m. breakfast but we still had to wait 17 minutes before a host/server came out and actually seated us.

The server seemed thoroughly confused by his job. He brought out my order first. Then my son's order only the realize my son's was wrong.

I then had to wait for the right order to come out. Once it did we both started eating. I noticed the toast was cold. I tried to get some butter on it and it was hard as a rock.

I tried to flag the server down, of course he was on the back for another 5 minutes. No where to be seen.

When he finally came out I asked if he could bring me new toast to replace the one I had since I had to wait for him to fix my son's order. His response was, "sure but you'll be charged an extra fee. I don't know what my mistake with his order has to do with your toast being cold."

I decided against ordering a second order of toast seeing as everything took so long and the rest of my food was getting cold too.

We tried it....

We ate here three times from 12/31 to 1/2. Two breakfasts and a dinner. The breakfast was a pretty poor buffet at $20 a person. Wet eggs, under done sausage and bacon, decent potatoes and decent French toast, chalky pancakes. They also offered oat meal, diced fruit and yogurt. They did not offer the regular menu. They said on the phone they could make bloody Marys but when we arrived they said only mimosas. Coffee and water were provided. The staff was very nice so kudos there (I asked for a Diet Coke and he brought one). For dinner we both had the burger. The roll was a little stale but otherwise it was pretty good. I ordered the French onion soup which they did not have but instead they gave me broccoli cheddar soup. It was extremely thin, mostly broth. Again, our server was very nice. It would be interesting to see what this restaurant is normally like when they are not operating under holiday conditions. Other reviews seem to look like they usually do better but the above was...
